The reviews made me very excited for this place, but quite frankly the cost vs portion size just doesn’t equate for me. We had fajitas and the Persian platter. The fajitas were nice, I wouldn’t necessarily go back for them though. The Persian platter was disappointing. It didn’t really feel cohesive so made for a lack lusted meal. It’s great that the place is fully vegan, but I just don’t think the star rating quite measures up.

Read moreIt is set in a very nice quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas, so we had a relaxed afternoon. We were a party of 3, myself, my wife and mnd my 9 year old daughter.
We shared the mixed tempura and summer rolls as a starter.
I had the Persian platter as a main, which was excellent, my daughter had the jackfruit burger which was well presented and substantial. My wife opted for the ch*cken fajitas which were a lighter option as quite a small portion, but still very tasty.
We accompanied our meals with lovely hand made juices and lemonades.
The atmosphere was laid back and although the cost was a little more than I usually pay, the standard of the food was high so I think it represents great value for what you get.
2 starters, 3 soft drinks and 3 mains came to just over €100, but we all left happy and satisfied.
Will definitely return next time I'm in Mallorca. Fabulous experience.

Overall, a really great vegan restaurant in one of the nicer parts of Santa Ponsa. The Japanese Crispy Taco was heavenly, and the Spaghetti Bolognese was also very good. The Chocolate Cake and the Blueberry Cheesecake were both absolutely amazing – especially since, as a vegan in Santa Ponsa, you usually only find fruit plates as dessert in non-vegan restaurants.
Read moreWe were a bit less impressed with the Tzatziki – very heavy on the dill and not enough cucumber. The burger bun also has some room for improvement; even though it’s gluten-free, it could be fluffier.
Still, a fantastic spot and definitely worth a visit during your holiday in Mallorca.

Within moments of arriving, we just knew Donna Vegano was going to be special and memorable.

We opted against the sharing platters, instead ordering the tempura mix, maki cucumber and grilled corn to start, followed by the Korean rice cake and Thai Basil. We also ordered a bottle of Zinio red wine, which was superb🍷.
The starters were excellent, with the tempura cauliflower and broccoli perfectly cooked in a nice crunchy batter and accompanied by a lovely spicy mayo dip, whilst the maki and corn were very flavoursome.
Next to arrive were the mains, with the Thai basil and Korean rice cake dishes both beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. We particularly liked the avocado cream in the rice cake and vegan beef used for the Thai Basil. Our son also enjoyed his kids meal of fries and nuggets, and it was great to see kids catered for, which is not the case at all restaurants.
To end the night, we ordered a blueberry cheesecake and chocolate cake, which again were delicious, and in total our bill came to about €110. Staff even arranged for our taxi home.
Definitely a must visit when visiting Majorca.

Get the sharing platter - Edit
Do not pass up this amazing restaurant when in Mallorca. It's a little bit out of the way, but so worth the trip. The sharing platter was simply fabulous. A wonderful assortment of dishes on their menu, kind of like tapas but the dishes are from different cuisines around the world. Absolutely loved this place.

Great food but overpriced and not up to par - Edit
After having read all the positive reviews and looked at the pictures of the food, we decided to drive to Donna Vegana out of Palma for an outing.
Read moreThe food really lived up to our expectations. It was exquisite and the presentation was beautiful, and there were many different options to choose from.
However, one of the things I reacted to was the platter. I missed that it was 40€ PER PERSON and not for the whole meal to share. While everything was delicious and beautiful, I didn’t think this platter of small tapas was worth 80€.
Another thing that was a bit annoying was that there were flies constantly landing on our food and us having to shoo them away (we were sitting outside). For an upscale restaurant next to a luxury resort you would somehow expect them to adress this problem (with bug repellent incense, etc.).
It was a nice surprise to see a little play house at the back of the restaurant, which would have made it child friendly, but it was in a very poor condition and all the toys inside it were broken.
Finally, the waiter we had was struggling understanding English and had to come back with another waiter to retake our order. The other waiter kept over explaining everything (like what babaganoush is, etc.), which wasn’t a big deal, but detracted from the overall experience.

The food was delicious we had the broccoli tempura and spicy endame beans to start followed by the tacos and spag Bol. Finished with the blueberry cheesecake which was delicious. The service was fast and the food came out as it was ready which was great as we were sharing. Location is slightly away from where we were staying but it was worth the taxi there and back

Dieses vegane Lokal war das von unserer Ferienwohnung am nächsten gelegene. Trotzdem haben wir mit dem Bus eine gefühlte Ewigkeit gebraucht. Uns verwirrt nach wie vor, dass man hier manchmal einfach in die entgegengesetzte Richtung losfährt, um ans Ziel zu kommen.

There is a large selection of different dishes. Of the main courses, we tried the burger and the Pad Thai. Both were very tasty. From the starters, we tried the Japanese Crispy Taco and the Tempura Mix. The Japanese Crispy Taco was incredibly tasty. On another visit, we tried the sharing platter. There was a small selection of many starters (for example edamame, grilled corn, humus, Japanese crispy taco, summer roll, tabouleh, baba ganoush) and 2 types of sushi and a small sample of the burger. To try the starters, we would recommend the platter. From the desserts we tried the blueberry cheesecake, the chocolate cake and the mini pistachio. The desserts were absolutely amazing.

Wirklich ein tolles Restaurant, das ich jederzeit wieder besuchen würde. Super nettes Team, gemütliche Terrasse und das wichtigste: sehr leckeres Essen! Es gibt eine große Auswahl an tollen veganen Gerichten, aber auch sehr leckere Getränke. Einige Gerichte sind asiatisch angehaucht. Ich hatte Sushi und den Korean Rice Cake und fand alles wirklich köstlich.

Words can’t even explain how much I enjoyed my meal here. We had a sharing board which was a taster of all the best bits on their menu. I was wondering how that would feel and maybe not all flavors go together but the portion size of each item was just right. Every mouthful was so good. The crispy nori tacos were one of the nicest things I’ve eaten out since being vegan. The Thai curry was yum. Only thing I wasn’t keen on was the falafel but I’m never keen on falafel The atmosphere there is great, super staff, music is on point and it’s on a great location that feels colourful, clean and not over run with stacks of people. If you’re in Mallorca you HAVE to try this place
