A Votre Sante's lived up to its name translated "To Your Health" for Linda and I! - Edit
We had just returned from a 2 1/2 week extended visit to Costa Rica and a Lyft ride to Santa Monica from LAX to pick up our automobile, which was left with family. We anticipated a 2 hour drive back to the Inland Valley in rush hour. This suggested a need to rest and to eat something delicious and nutritious first. But where?
Read moreI looked on "The Cow" and saw A Votre Sante listed in Brentwood. It had been so long since I had ventured to this high-end WLA enclave where I had spent most of my youth. We had to go.
I did have some misgivings at first. Yes, the place and clientel felt high-end indeed. However, we were warmly greeted by a helpful staff. Our waiter navigated us through a number of vegan options. Linda ordered what turned out to be the exquisit and flavorful Falaful Wrap. It was huge, beautiful, and tasty. I had the Curry Vegitables, which was equally outstanding. The environment was warm and friendly; the food was superb; and the price was moderate or so. We will return here on another visit to LA. Maybe I'll try one of their vegan desert selections next time. Dr John

Fresh and upscale - Edit
Had a classy, quiet dinner here. Cute neighborhood, good wine, great gluten-free and vegan options and 3 kinds of vegan pie in their bakery case. Delicious and decent portions, enough to have leftovers.

Great food and service! - Edit
Lots of great vegan and vegetarian choices here. We had a falafel wrap and a lo mein stir fry and they were both excellent. They also have a big vegan dessert list but we were too full to try them. Our waiter was outstanding!

Two restaurants in one - Edit
One thing has changed since I wrote my original review. The restaurant has been combined with the one next door- now two separate kitchens, but because the second kitchen cooks a lot of meat, the whole place smells like it. Something to consider if that offends you. There are a few tables outside though.

A Votre Sante serves an array of healthy & flavorful options, a good place to bring non-vegetarian friends and introduce them gradually to more whole foods diet. My favorites are the blackened tofu feast, the vegan soups, and vegan desserts.

Popular place, healthy choices - Edit
My family members and friends and I have eaten here many times over the years. Here's my A Votre Sante review update.
Read moreIt's a highly popular place with residents in the West LA / Brentwood area, lots of houses surround the little shopping where the restaurant is located.
Prior to their merge with the restaurant next door in May 2008, A Votre Sante was more veg-friendly. But since the merge, more meat dishes have been added to its menu, including red meats, and that's a bummer for pure vegetarians to see.
However, the vegetarian and vegan options are still on the original menu. We like: the vegan blue corn pancakes available at breakfast/brunch time only, the mediterranean platter, the falafel wrap and platter, the tostada, the burrito, and sometimes the tofu and brown rice plates. The other wraps that are vegetarian are usually pretty tasty as are the vegan soups. And there is always a good selection of vegan desserts.
Prices have gone up a bit also, but I guess that goes with inflation and the times. Still a good choice when in the westside.
Pros: has vegan & vegetarian, friendly service, vegan desserts
Cons: red meat

Options for everyone! - Edit
A Votre Sante is pretty great! As the other reviewers noted below, you can bring everyone here (veg or non-veg) and not one complains. Perfect if you're traveling with non-veg people. I got the garden wrap vegan style and was floored. It was so good, tasty, and healthy!!! The atmosphere was pretty great too.

Yummy breakfast, lunch & dinner - Edit
This is a go to place for many of my westside friends in need of a healthy and hearty meal. The food is consistent, very good and the portions are large. On last visit shared pancakes and mexican egg dish, delicious! Soy lattes are also very good!

I can't believe there's not more reviews!!!! - Edit
This place is so awesome!!! Its my new favorite vegan friendly place to eat in LA. You can take everyone here and NO ONE complains. The BEST part about it is that you can order menu items OIL FREE. I was shocked when I saw that on the menu. The food is fantastic and it gets crowded on the weekends.
