Ive eaten here a couple of times. They do have a veg option which contains chickpeas (so you get your protein hit). The chili sauces are made locally and they are very tasty! And spicy if you like it like that. I bought one for home :)
Its pretty tasty, semi healthy fast-ish food.
I am not sure what stock they used in their veg option: my friend said it tasted like chicken stock the last time we went there, so I would be checking on that one next time!!

100% clean food!
After you eat here, you will feel so nourished and satisfied. The food is really high quality and very tasty. More of a dine-in experience than the fast food style. The variety is so-so but the result is incredible! And there is the unforgettable raw snickers slice for dessert that is just divine! The day I went there for it 3other people were trying to get it as well! It is the must-try!

Like Tian Ran, but more oil!
Easy House is also Buddhist food on the Gold Coast. The menu is extensive and has some really great options! The fake meat, in particular the chicken, is delicious!! The portion sizes are generous so you can always keep for next days lunch. The food is really tasty and really satisfying, but I found the last time I ate here it was saltier and oilier than it needed to be. But definitely worth trying!

My favourite health food store
Flannery's would have to be my favourite health food chain around south east QLD. They are more expensive than the major names, but everything you find here is either better quality or locally produced.
The times I have shopped here, the staff have been helpful and the variety has been good. Sometimes it can be very pricey, other times it can be great value.

Best Koftas yet!
This Govindas has lovely fresh salads and amazing koftas! There are also vegan and gluten free options which help. The sago desserts are really amazing too. Well priced but very popular so you could be cueing up for a while. They try to have different hot food everyday so the vegetarians have a lot of options. They love their diary so I think the vegan options are a lot healthier if thats what you want.

Delicious, fresh and quality!
They are now open for lunch and the food here is tasty. There is a community garden which makes a great spot to hang out and there is live music most nights! Such a great vibe on the Coast, and the food is delicious too! They do Brazilian cuisine and pizzas and try to keep the menu fresh and new. The ingredients are quality and the raw desserts are a real treat!

Magic Apple has gone up and down over the years. I find their cooked food always a bit too overcooked or overspiced (not in a hot way) and the prices a bit much. I'd drive a bit further south to Govindas or north to Mandala over eating here.

My favourite Vegetarian restaurant since 2002!
I first tried Tian Ran in 2002 and it quickly became my favourite spot to eat. I had just turned vegetarian so this place made the transition so easy with their delicious 'fake meats' made from soy protein, mushrooms, seaweed and more. My favourite dishes there (which I always get and they NEVER get boring) are the incredible chicken and vegetable curry and the sweet and sour chicken. The chicken and corn soup always makes for a nice entree and the sago and soy ice cream is the pefect way to end the dining experience. They are always reliable for good taste and quality ingredients!
