Easy House is also Buddhist food on the Gold Coast. The menu is extensive and has some really great options! The fake meat, in particular the chicken, is delicious!! The portion sizes are generous so you can always keep for next days lunch. The food is really tasty and really satisfying, but I found the last time I ate here it was saltier and oilier than it needed to be. But definitely worth trying!

I shared yum cha dishes and mains with non-vegans, and even they were impressed!

We shared the ‘honey’ chkn and tofu & chkn in ginger sauce with choy sum (from the specials board). Both dishes were very yummy - if you have a sweet tooth, you will like the honey chkn.
At dinner time, there is a different menu - just ask for the tum cha menu (some entree items are the same as the dinner menu).
Staff were friendly and it was a great dinner, we will be back💗

We went and sampled some dishes from the Lunar New Year menu and the regular menu. I haven't seen mock honey chicken before - it was great. My partner had the hot pot special and enjoyed it. The nian bao was crispy and the hibiki matcha pudding was amazing.

Nice restaurant serving yum cha for lunch and a la carte options too. So nice that we went for lunch 2 days in a row! Options include steamed, pan fried or deep fried. Also has desserts. Friendly service.

I went to this restaurant 3 times in 4 days on the GC. The service is fast and friendly and the food was the best I've ever had at a vegan restaurant. There are so many dishes to choose from and the yum cha at lunch is a must. I would come back to the GC just to go there.

Easy House is exactly that, a casual easy setting with a large menu with something for everyone. It’s not licensed and bright lighting means it’s not a “restaurant” atmosphere but with friendly staff who are always welcoming and tasty food it’s definitely worth a regular visit.

Ideal Vegan Yum Cha Place in Gold Coast - Edit
Easy House was the first vegan stop since our arrival to the Gold Coast. The family restaurant was very welcoming and sweet. The yum cha options were tasty. There was a mini cockroach in the gailan (greens) and they were happy enough to cook and bring out a new one. The matcha coconut cream pudding and the chocolate pudding (always sold out) is a must try!

We have been going to Easy House ever since we discovered it a few years ago after moving up from Sydney to the Gold Coast. It is run by the loveliest family who are really passionate about veganism & making their customers happy by serving up consistently delicious food each & every time. We love Asian food & could not be happier with the delicious selections on offer in their fantastic menu. My family are all vegan and my son & I are also gluten free. We always have the best selection of dishes to choose from & don't ever feel as if we are missing out on anything by being gluten free. The friendly staff always cater well to our gluten free requirements. I also love the fact that they don't cook with onion or garlic - another thing I can't eat. We especially love the "beef" in black bean sauce, the salt & pepper tofu, the combination flat rice noodles, the vegetarian fried rice, xo noodles, pan fried dumplings and steamed Chinese broccoli. The yum cha lunch menu is also divine with the best steamed dumplings in the universe! Their mango & coconut puddings are out of this world also - so happy mango season is back again! This is a restaurant that has become our absolute favourite in the whole of the Gold Coast & is where we celebrate just about every special occasion. Thank you to the wonderful staff for their amazing customer service and delectable dishes. We really appreciate everything you do, as we are sure, do the animals you save by being such great advocates for veganism & the plant-based, healthy way of life. Please go and try this highly recommended gem of a restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Favourite meal on the Gold Coast - Edit
Cycled down from surfers paradise and was not disappointed. Had lunch and it was soooo good. Definitely ate too much but was worth it. Would have loved to go with friends to try different dishes, I was on my own so had the dumplings (my favourite) and chilli chicken. They let my try some of their home made picked radish and it was great. Definitely worth a visit!!!!
