Han, we receive fresh vegetables and stock daily. We do our very best to wash all the vegetables. Is it possible that a little insect somehow remains on the veg? Certainly possible. But we sell thousands of pitas a week and have never received this feedback from anyone but you. It also looked like this ‘bug’ you reported was a herb and you received a refund regardless. Additionally we recently received an Excellent score from council on our sanitation so do not appreciate this kind of online slander.

Hi, 1) I did not receive a refund - I have asked for one and have not heard back from the person in the email chain. 2) It is quite clearly a bug and not a herb.

I enjoyed the food at ZSG but I will not be going back to this store unfortunately. I will also add the first instance of dripping sanitary standards was when I saw a young male worker who wiped his nose with his gloves on, then proceeded to prepare a pita using the same hand/glove.
