Tasty Food at a Great Price - Edit
Had the Massaman Curry with Vegetables and rice for only 90 baht. Meals was a good sized portion and super tasty, definitely value for money. Will be back while I’m in Koh Lanta. Decent amount of vegetarian options across dedicated multiple pages in the back of the menu. Free water. Super quick service.

The food here was gorgeous and very cheap. The owner was really lovely too. Would definitely return and would give it 5 stars if I could.

Great spot - Edit
I love this place - I ate here most days and while it may not be the best food ever, it’s tasty, super cheap and the staff are lovely! There’s a whole veg section at the back of the menu with main courses 60-90B including rice. They have free water on the table but also sell delicious coconuts. It’s not the speediest place, so if it’s busy, you may have a little bit of a wait

Best in Koh Lanta - Edit
If I could give this place 6 stars I would (it won’t let me give 5 due to not being fully vegan). It was the best meal that I have eaten during my time in Thailand and also the cheapest. The young man who served us was lovely as were the other staff we encountered. He also knew what vegan is which was very reassuring. This place was particularly good because they cook the veggie dishes separate to the meat dishes and use an alternative to fish sauce - a constant worry as a vegan in Thailand! They also offer an extensive drinks menu of smoothies, juices and shakes. The have soy, almond and coconut milk. The value and taste of the food is incredible. Everything tastes so fresh. The spring rolls and Massaman curry with fried tofu were particularly delicious. I wish we had discovered this place when we first arrived in Koh Lanta! Thank you for a lovely meal.

The best food on Koh Lanta - Edit
What can I say about this place. I love the food here so much. They don't have vegan on menu only vegetarians but you can request them for vegan or anything you want. Even fruits shakes you can ask for almond milk. They're very flexible and understandable your wishes. Food is very good and tasty. Staffs are very nice and friendly. Between 7pm and 8pm is pretty busy so be sure you're on time for your dinner! Oh and it's very cheap too! Very very recommended.

Das Essen ist unglaublich lecker und auf der Karte gibt es sehr viele Möglichkeiten als Veganer froh zu werden. Vom Papaya Salat bis zu Currys lässt es sich hier zu kleinen Preisen gut speisen.

Most Delicious on Lanta! - Edit
Someone recommended this restaurant after asking if we were vegetarian/vegan. We felt so lucky for the information because we could not only afford to eat at Yawee multiple times but it also was the most savory place we may have ever eaten! Most dishes are just 2-3 USD and were large portions.
Read moreThe staff felt like family by the time we left the island, who gave us chopsticks and banana chips when we informed them it was our last day.
Their iced lattes were delicious, offering almond milk, coconut milk and soy milk. If you're ordering things like pad Thai that usually contains egg, just make note of that when ordering. The young man there is fantastic with his English and will certainly accommodate.
They have a good selection on their menu if you're in a dense veggie mood, but the thing we most recommend is the rice topped & fried tofu massaman curry. It is like nothing I've had before! The mixture of pumpkin and fried tofu is mouth watering. If you're in Thailand and haven't yet tried morning glory, then be sure to try it! You can't go wrong with their curries, they are the best I've ever had! Their spring rolls are obviously freshly made, with the pile of cabbage and carrot shreds served beside the rolls as a nice crunchy raw snack to munch on.
If I could encourage anyone to try a place to eat or wish I could eat at that one restaurant that is too far away, Yawee would be the place. Don't miss out on this amazing restaurant for so many reasons!
Pros: Affordable for Travelers, D E L I C I O U S !, Variety of Options
