Basic vegetarian buffet eatery located in an alley off of Hankou Sec. 2 Street, on the south end of Ximending. Food is laid out, and you take what you'd like and pay for it by weight until 7pm, then there is a smaller selection and a fixed price. No a la carte. Buddhist chant played in the background. Has air-con. Open Mon-Sat 11:30am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri 4:30pm-7:00pm.

Tucked down an alley this is a great find . Basic buffet mostly vegan . English speaking and very helpful .

Hidden in the side alley, but worth the detour. Sitting about 20 people, visited by locals and tourists. Buffet, not a restaurant, with Buddhist vibe. Staff speaks English and is very friendly. Wide selection of local food, especially mock meats, stinky tofu, and everything delicious. Ask what has eggs/milk, some dishes may not be vegan, but 95% will be. Price for a proper meal no more than 200 NT, so very affordable. Cash only!

Great affordable little place. Employees spoke English and helped me at my first time going to a buffet style lunch here in Taipei. The barbecue meat was awesome. This plate cost me $5.50 USD
