I love ice cream. So I love fully vegan ice cream places (i don’t know many of them tbh), so I don’t have to only take sorbet all the time.

They have four different flavors that change every day (I guess).
You can mix two flavors together.
When I was there it was dark chocolate passion fruit and sugar cane pandan.
As said for the ice cream definitely 5 stars! Also as i didn’t know Pandan, he let me try the pandan before buying.
Now why I only give four stars :
First experience when I visited that place. There was one guy half an hour before official closing time and he closed the shop already (was washing the mashines), he said a co-worker was sick so they close now (hmm…half an hour before official closing time? this was weird for me).
Second: When I went there the second time, I wanted a huge portion so he put it in a glass. And I paid 230 only for the ice cream ( 20 for one topping) Later he brought me an empty glass that i could take away. I didn’t ask for that and also didn’t want that as I am traveling only with hand luggage and can’t take glass stuff with me.
Idk why I had to take it, but when I asked if I can just not take it and have the 80 T$ instead, he suddenly didn’t understand me anymore. But well no problem: So I took another portion to go and asked to fill it in the glass. problem solved. that portion then was 100 (what’s okish). But the 150 80 for the first portion was too much. Didn’t like that move!
Pros: changing tastes day by day, super delicious soft serve / I was allowed to try, many toppings
Cons: had to buy a glass / didnt want that.

Hidden in a side alley off a main crowded road, it has a funky ambience with different ice cream flavours which you can mix and match to create your own sundae!

super customizable with different glittery syrups and fun sprinkles in different shapes and colors that you get to add yourself!! tried the yogurt flavor which was very delicious and tasted like chinese style yogurt!!! highly recommend visiting this place if you're in the area

We went here twice during our time in Taipei. The service is good, but the second time we went they didn't know much English. The ice cream and cookie dough are good, but wouldn't recommend the nitromilk.

This is a very unique little place in the busy Ximending area. They have yummy vegan soft serve ice cream, cookie dough, plant milk, and cold brew on offer. It's a fun party atmosphere with neon lighting, confetti, and even karaoke! Do give this place a try for an interesting experience.

Best Ice Cream in Taipei, coolest place in Ximending! - Edit
Frankly, Ximending isn't as fun as people tell you. It's all very cookie cutter. You got your big brands and some mediocre coffee shops. Bonkers is different. This place has character and is fun! The ice cream is amazing as well, probably the best ice cream you will find in Taipei.

Today they had 4 different kind of icecream. Applestrudel, chocolate mint, yoghurt, passionfruit.

All 4 tasted really good! Our favorite was applestrudel which tasted more like strudel than apple.
Unfortunately, as i wrote above it is expensive. And the atmosphere is really party, loud and colourful. It is an experience, but i didn't like that they use a confetti machine, i was full of silver confetti and had it in my icecream and its just a unnecessary pollution.
Pros: Tasty icecream, 2 in 1 Portion to try 2 different flavours

The soft serve here is indeed very good and has rotating flavors. We got ours with add-ons which came in little plastic containers and really blinged up the dessert, making it very Instagram-worthy (if that's your thing). Beware that some of the round candy is hard and tooth-breaking!
Read moreThe soft serve itself is a reasonable price but the add-ons and stroopwaffle make one small serve $200 which is pricey for Taiwan. Still, I'd go back to try another flavor, but next time without the bling.

Such a fun concept and absolutely delicious flavours! We had a cup with choc hazelnut and yoghurt flavours, and a cup with kaya and apple strudel flavours. We drizzled it with sparkly vanilla sauce too. We'll be back!
