Misleading - Edit
This is the first restaurant I've been to in Taiwan that has the English word "vegan" on their signage that serves ovo-vegetarian items. I didn't find out that they were misusing the term until after I'd finished my meal. I felt traumatized and confronted the staff as calmly as possible about this problem, and they claimed they didn't know that they had misled their customers. I consulted other veg*ns about this later, and they advised me to always be skeptical at veg*n restaurants in Taiwan since locals don't necessarily know what "vegan" means. It just seems trendy to use the term and attract customers by throwing English on a sign. Please make sure to ask them to clarify which items do NOT include animal products whenever you walk in, and remind them that the word "vegan" has a very specific definition and cannot be a catch-all for "no meat".

Cons: misleading use of the word "vegan", menu doesn't indicate which items are not vegan
