High hopes, but disappointed! - Edit
I asked questions about the vegan options and the person at the counter was not at all helpful. Couldn’t answer what sauces were vegan, or suggest what could be substituted and was not motivated to ask/find out. I came specifically looking for Superior Small Batch items and she didn’t know what I was talking about (she eventually said she thinks the breakfast sausage was from there, but wasn’t sure.) Okay… so I ordered the Vegan Curry Burger sandwich that I thought might also be from SSB. So many delicious sounding toppings on whole grain toast: curry burger was good flavor and texture, vegan mozz shreds, vegan spread (again - couldn’t say what that was for sure, maybe the lemon parsley vinaigrette, which was fresh and bright), lettuce, tomatoes, and house pickle. Sadly the sandwich was very dry and pretty flavorless. I asked for some kind of sauce at the counter and luckily someone suggested the vinaigrette. It was better, but still meh… I saw $5 chips and salsa for happy hour. “Salsa” was tomatoes, white onion, green bell peppers, and cilantro - again no flavor, served with a large portion of commercial tortilla chips. Meh. I asked what the veg side of the day was - a green bean slaw - is it vegan? “IDK” , so I settled for cantaloupe (which was fresh, ripe and delicious), also got the fresh squeezed Arnold Palmer - Finished off with a vegan Scotcheroo, which was like a thick, caramel/butterscotch rice crispy treat with a thick layer of dark chocolate ganache on top. Last three items were the highlights of the meal! As I was leaving I noticed the dinner menu with more vegan options including pizzas. I’ll definitely give them another try (service was much friendlier and more helpful when I went back to order dessert). Id love to see them up the flavor profile, maybe I just ordered the wrong things. Seemed like a bustling place that has fun events in the evenings (open Mic, guitar night, etc)
Read moreand a good selection of board games for hanging out. As an LGBTQ ally I was super happy to see a place this accepting and progressive, and I’m happy to support them next time I’m in the area. I’ll gladly get an Arnold Palmer and Scotcheroo every time!
Pros: Fun vibe, Vegan Scotcheroo - OMG!, Vegan menu options
Cons: Unhelpful staff member (maybe a bad day), Food could be ramped up flavor-wise, Curry Burger is dryer than Las Vegas in August

Love this place! - Edit
Comfortable, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Several menu items can be made vegan, plus they typically have some vegan baked goods. An added bonus is they source many ingredients locally.
