Totally Upscale

Nice place to for a romantic dinner, but it's just not for me. Just fancy, healthy stuff. Only dish attracting me was a curry, which tasted great. But a 100 bucks with rice. Next day I tried my curry from supermarket and felt it tastes the same.

Pros: Stylish, Service was okay

Cons: Expensive, (for me personally) few interesting food option

Great food. You can change dishes to vegan

Amazing depth of flavour. You can easo order anything vegan, just let the waiter know, one of the guys speak English and the other has the translation app so you're good 👌 portion was as youd expect in fine dining, but well worth the quality of dish. No issues 👌🙏🌱

Pros: Menu clearly explains whats in each dish

Birthday treat

I'm new to the neighbourhood & thanks to Happy Cow saw this place was close by. My girlfriend treated me for my birthday. It's a beautiful looking place, very well decorated. We were seated upstairs, we had 3 lovely dishes that I can't quite remember apart from the stuffed lotus root which was amazing. The portions are decent & so beautifully presented, I was expecting it to be a lot pricier after reading other reviews but was nicely surprised. I look forward to going back.
So we went here last night for our anniversary, the restaurant itself is beautiful, we sat upstairs by the window, the staff are very attentive and there's just a very good ambience. The menu on an ipad has English but also indicates whether a dish has milk, egg, onions or garlic so it's easy to pick vegan dishes. We went for the stuffed lotus root, damn these are so good. We also had lion's head mushroom in sweet & sour sauce, delicious, crispy taro also amazing, rice, crispy fried noodles also fantastic and pumpkin with marinated tofu, this was just ok as the flavour of the tofu is not one I like but the sauce & pumpkin were good. We had the soy & rice milk ice cream dessert which was good. The food & the place are definitely worth the trip, it's not even that expensive.

Pros: Delicious, Great selection, Nice location

A bit disappointing

The food was good, but most of the dishes were vegetarian and not vegan. I also found it to be a bit on the greasy side, and I don't think it was worth the price. It might be a great place to take non-vegan friends, but as a vegan I think I'd prefer going somewhere else.

Exquisite treat and fancy services

Went there with a group of friends to treat ourselves to this famous veggie restaurant chain and each individual impression was quite different. We settled upon the 6 course menu, which apart from the first course was as described in the fancy covered list. I really enjoyed each dish, even if some ingredients have been changed. I think the menu itself was very balanced and well thought of. The portion sizes were rather small, but at the end I felt very satisfied and satiated. On the other hand, my Chinese colleagues were not happy at all (meat eaters, used to heavy meals). They ordered three other dishes which we all shared and in my opinion they were not so good. I would have left with a better impression if we would have just stopped after the 6 course menu. The service is definitely fancy and the waiters are overdoing their job. Every time they entered with a dish, they thoroughly explained all the ingredients and how it was prepared. As drinks, we tried some smoothies and a bottle of de-alcoholized wine (did not know that exists) and loved them.

Pros: Fantastic presentation and service, Well prepared waiters, overdoing it, Balanced 6 course menu ideas

Cons: Expensive, Separate dishes- non 6 course not worth the price

A marvelous delight

Great service and amazing food.
Dishes have indications for eggs. You will have to ask for milk, but most options are vegan or vegan friendly.
Try to order the lotus roots slices filled with millet.

Organic!

Cool place. Upmarket. Decor lovely. Service impeccable. And, an oasis of organic (where they can) in the ocean of poison that is the Chinese environment. A bit expensive, but hey, quality costs. Good for a classy meal, but I just go there by myself as well for lunch when nearby

Pros: classy, high quality, organic

Cons: a bit pricey

save up to treat yourself

The servings here are small and the prices are high, but the atmosphere is nice and the food is tasty. It's not the kind of place you would go to often, but it might be good for when there's a special occasion.

Interesting Vegetarian Place

I found this place with good fate.

First, it was my SF friend's wedding celebration cum baby celebration cum farewell party dinner. We were invited to the top floor, pte dining.

Then I came back to attend WUJIE's cooking class. And have my lunch here. I love it! There was some issue with the service (appetizer served super super late, even when I finished my mains). I expressed my disappointment & the staff was very kind/ patient to understand (& this is more than enough to resolve). =) =) =)

The third time. Was also a pleasant visit. My friend & I liked our choices. Only puzzling dish was something that is very scattered. We didn't understand what the chef is trying to express, though the rest of the experience has been great, so it didn't matter so much.

In short, I like this place very much. =)

Pros: Eating with sunshine, Beautiful presentation, Creative juxtaposition of ingredients

Cons: Smelly elevator (don't know why), A little oily, Pricey (but I can accept, but not higher

Nice place serving contemporary vegetarian cuisine

My partner and I came here for dinner on a Friday. Were first told that there'd be no availability until later in the evening, but another staff member managed to squeeze us in. Do make a reservation if you want to secure a table.

The place was quite big with 2-3 floors. Setting was modern and elegant with dim lighting, which made for a nice atmosphere. They had a quite innovative menu that offered a wide range of selection. Eggs/dairy were not labeled, so I had to ask the staff. They pretty much went through the whole menu with us, explaining and answering all my questions, which I found very professional and kind of them. From what they told me, it seemed many of the dishes were vegan. I also liked that they were very light on mock meats.

We settled on a couple of dishes to share. Everything was tasty, though the mushroom stir-fry was a little too oily and the steamed multigrain rice was on the dry side and bit bland. We skipped dessert as most of them contained eggs or dairy.

Portion sizes were average, definitely not big, but enough for 2-3 people to share. Quality does come with a price, so expect to pay around RMB150 per person. We will for sure come back to try out more dishes when in town next time.

Pros: tasty food, menu selection, service

Cons: little greasy

Modern vegan

It's rather daring for an entrepreneur to run a high class restaurant serving strictly vegetarian food at par with the best gourmet restaurants. Greenology does a good job at it. Though meant as nouveau cuisine the quantity isn't compromised and the taste excellent. This is a nice place for the gourmand or the compassionate couple who wants a rare treat once in a while.

Pros: designer dishes, great ambience, good service

Cons: a bit pricey, no alcohol, obviously
