A good vegan option in off-season - Edit
We visited Rovinj in mid November, so a lot of restaurants were closed for the winter. We ordered pad thai with tofu and specified that we want it vegan. The food was tasty and the portion generous. The price (13 eur) is a bit steep for a take out dish and it’s a shame that all the dishes are served in single use dishes with single use cutlery even if you choose to eat on their terrace.

We had the mini bao buns with tofu (3 piece per portion, not so mini after all) and a Pad Thai with tofu (has eggs, can be ordered without)
Read moreFood was freshly made, super tasty, fruity and the sauces amazing. Tofu was crispy and flavourful.
Staff was nice and welcoming. Little terrace at the harbour side just around the corner to enjoy the food with a view.

OK for Rovinj - Edit
Well, Rovinj is really not a great place for vegans. This Asian restaurant is honestly the best one can find around. They serve pad thai with tofu (remember to ask and they will omit eggs), fried veggies, fried noodles with veggies... I had the pad thai which was tasty.

Good Asian food - Edit
One of the few vegan food spots in Rovinj. Lots of vegan options, dishes can be altered. Staff knows about veganism. I had the rice noodles with tofu which was very good. Good spices, not too spicy or salty. The restaurant is take away but there is a terrace as well. Waiting time was ok, not fast but not too long.

For me it is the Best place for vegan food in rovinj. There are not many restaurants und Rovinj which know what vegan means, But at wok about you order vegan and get vegan.

Generally the food in Istria seems to be everywhere the same, Pizza, Pasta, Fish, Cevapi. No variaty, no creativity. Not many vegetarians Options. We were happy to find something Vegetarian. But nothing special in the end. In karton boxes served food. Would I go to eat there again? No. We saw what others can do with a small kitchen and love. They need to do their homework.

The owner seems to kows what he is talking about very well. On demand he offered to make some vegetarien choices vegan (burrito, curry, fried rice and fried vegetables). All very tasty and quite well spiced.

We ordered vegetarian curries, vegetarian noodles, and spring rolls. The food was good and a little spicy, but we like it. The staff was very kind to us. One of us has allergies and they worried about it. Also, we didn't have enough kuna and they let us pay in euros.

We tried the veggie curry - it tasted better than it looked like! and the veggie burrito, which was a bit oily. The service was super friendly and the staff spoke good German and a bit of English. Even though they only accept cash payments, they were so nice and accepted euro and the rest in Kuna, as we did not have enough Kuna with us.

Great spot for cheap fast food - Edit
My husband and I came here in the late afternoon when most places had closed already. The staff was very friendly and made an effort to accommodate us as vegans. Food was ok, and we were left happily full and able to continue with our tour of the old town.
