The Best Flatbread - Edit
I’m in love with the Carbonara Flatbread. Vegan Bechamel? Count me in! The flatbread is also actually flat bread! The crust is probably the thinnest I’ve ever seen, which is great for me because I love thin crust.
Read moreThe menu is seasonal, so it’s always nice to come back and try this place again. Knocking one star only because I was very unhappy with the Spicy Yellow Curry. I can usually handle my spice, but when they say spicy, they really mean it here. 🥵
Pros: All vegan, Seasonal, Pleasant location

Great food - Edit
Went for brunch and really enjoyed the creative dishes.
Read moreThe lox tartine had that nice smoky, salty, slightly fishy taste of smoked lox but still with some carrot crunch.
The french toast itself was not that great, mainly because sourdough is not really a good bread for french toast. But that cream cheese mousse was fantastic! I wished I could buy that in tubs. The roasted hazelnuts were also scrumptious, so overall it was a really nice dish.
Will definitely try to make it back for dinner some day.

Excellent - Edit
Was expecting so much more focus on plant-based in the Bay Area, disappointed, especially in the city, until we found Wildseed in PA - so happy to finally find a place serving such delicious and inspiring plant-based dishes. Should be on everyone’s bucket list if they’re visiting Palo Alto.

Fancy food, fancy place, fancy people - Edit
Wildseed is a breath of fresh air for the vegan scene in the South Bay / Peninsula. They truly offer classy, high end, inspired food and they focus on making every dish a hands down winner. I used to go to Wildseed’s first restaurant in San Francisco and was so happy when they opened a location in Palo Alto!
Read moreThe menu begins with a list of what ingredients are in season, and the dishes rotate to incorporate those seasonal fruits and vegetables. There seems to always be a risotto, two flatbread pizzas, three salads, and a few classic items such as Neatball Masala that always remain. But the flavors and ingredients like flatbread toppings are refreshed several times a year. The only downside is you get attached to the really good dishes and hate to see them go away!
Pros: Inspired food made by true culinary professionals , Superior cocktail game, Seasonal
Cons: Very expensive, Hidden fees on check

Good not great - Edit
This is really 3.5 stars, but it’s good enough to round up to 4. For the price and geographic region, I expected better. Some dishes were great, some were not.

The passion sour (na) and wildseed burger were both amazing! - Edit
The nonalcoholic passion sour had creamy, orange, citrus, sweet, sour and fizzy notes, it was sophisticated and satisfying without rum. Wow!! I think the wildseed burger was superb, my son inhaled it before I could taste it. The outdoor dining area was nice, and was packed. The heat lamps kept it warm and the smells were absolutely amazing. The mushroom zapolle was interesting, like mushroom bread puffs, served with a wedge of lemon and something like vegan tartar sauce. The polenta cakes were flavorful. The curry was good, with fresh herbs, but the squash was slightly undercooked and it could have used more chickpeas for protein, I preferred the Thai Carrot Curry at Twelvemonth. The chocholate cake was light and tasty, but was not as decadent as the chocolate raspberry midnight at Milenium. Two suggestions to management; figure out how to balance the outdoor tables to remove the slight wobble, and trim the foliage near diners, I prefer leaves not envelope me while I eat. I would give it a 4.5 round up to 5. It was expensive but worth it, we plan to come back.

Vegan Food for your Wildest Dreams! - Edit
We had takeout from here last week, so can not comment on the restaurant’s service, but really liked the food. My omnivorous wife really enjoyed the Wild Seed burger; well-made, tasty and generous portion. I enjoyed the Spicy cucumbers and the Curried cauliflower. However, I thought the standouts were the Polenta cakes, especially with the addictive chipotle aioli; and the Mushroom Zeppole, incredibly light mushroom fritters, could have consumed a very large number of these, sooo good! Disappointed in the fries ( though
Read moreto be fair, dining in they might have been crisper or fresher), just seemed very ordinary. Also, enjoyed the Citrus Almond Cake, but was not bowled over by it, and would have liked to have more dessert choices; especially something chocolate! Still, large menu with many choices to suit your appetite and mood.
Pros: Innovative vegan food, generous serving sizes, Wonderful mushroom fritters!, 100% sustainable and compostable servingware
Cons: Very basic fries; especially at $11.00 as a side, Need moredessert options

Great seasonal menu! - Edit
Really great upscale vegan restaurant with amazing seasonal food. The menu was well put together with seasonal ingredients and plenty of options. The food was full of flavor and felt very fresh and on the healthy side. Our server was wonderful and the atmosphere was also super enjoyable. There was indoor and outdoor seating. I would recommend a reservation if planning to go on a weekend around dinner time. Definitely one of the nicest vegan restaurants I’ve been to! Totally worth going.

6⭐—Literally the best vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to - Edit
I don’t say that lightly. Everything from the drinks to the appetizers to the entrees was absolute phenomenal. Tried 6 different things (did family style among a group of 4, highly recommended), and truly everything was exquisite. Truffled flatbread, vegan lamb meatballs, and yellow curry were particular standouts, but I’d re-order everything we tried. Such unique foods, and very fancy feeling despite being not even as expensive as anticipated. Would love to return

Love this place! - Edit
We had dinner here on a Monday night (make a reservation if you can!) and it was fantastic! The drinks were great, the staff was friendly and the food was awesome! We got the the cauliflower and mushroom fritter appetizers and for dinner we had the pasta and the risotto. Everything was delicious and if I'm ever back in the area it'll be one of the first stops I make!
