Awesome Food! Service needs to improve - Edit
The food choices and quality, taste are out of this world. We love the food here.
Read moreUnfortunately, same can’t be said about their service. Rudeness starts with front desk folks to the servers. We visited for brunch on a Sunday. The waitress was not interested in answering any questions about the menu items. I ordered coffee and had to remind her 3 times as she was walking by without even looking at us, for my coffee. She never came back to our table to ask for anything more we needed to order. We kept waiting for the bill to arrive and finally had to flag down another waiter to compete the billing. All this while, our original waitresses was just walking around the restaurant. I asked our neighboring table and they were having the same experience. We love the good and ambience here. They either need to bring in more customer friendly serving staff or give more training to the existing ones. The servers are doing a dis-service to the restaurant and more importantly, their customers.

I'll be back! - Edit
I just had my first meal at Wildseed am so happy to have found this restaurant. There were so many choices to select from! We ended up getting the wild mushroom fritters with a delicious aoli dip followed by the Thai yellow curry. The curry had a very generous portion and included eggplant, sweet potatoes, greens, chickpeas. It had a nice amount of spice without being too spicy for me. Unfortunately, there was not room for dessert but the dessert menu looks great.
Read moreI love that they have non-alcoholic cocktails and I enjoyed having the NA gin and tonic.
The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive offering great suggestions.

Fully vegan - healthy option - Edit
I love that they are a fully vegan restaurant and have had some great dishes here. I sort of wish that the kids menu was a bit more flavorful. I’m vegan and I get that this is a silly silly criticism of the only fully vegan restaurant left in Palo Alto but I feel like some of the food is too… healthy? If I am getting French toast, I have already decided that I want a delicious, sweet item. It doesn’t need to made with healthy, hearty bread.

Great service and love the outdoor vibe.
Pros: Soooo many vegan options, Thank you for existing in Palo Alto! , Great outdoor seating
Cons: Loud indoors, (Sometimes) forsakes flavor for healthiness

We have been to the SF location many times and had the chance to experience this location. We were not disappointed. What we love about Wildseed is their seasonal focus. The food was very beautifully presented.

Wildseed take 2.. - Edit
It's great to see the second location for any vegan restaurant imo especially one that is really good. I've been eating at the original location since day 1 and I love the rotating menu. I have enjoyed many great meals ranging from brunch, lunch, happy hour, and of course dinner and I can confidently say I am always satisfied when I leave. I hope to see even more locations opening!

High energy fine dining - Edit
Don’t you just love when you go to a Vegan Restaurant and you don’t have to figure out the menu? Well this is one of those places, all plant based, full cocktail menu IPA beers etc. I ordered the meatball with cauliflower rice. Delectable. So many good things on the menu but I wasn’t all that hungry from a larger meal earlier today. Definitely want to come back. Really awesome place, great service, staff is on the ball with their head in the game.

The Best Flatbread - Edit
I’m in love with the Carbonara Flatbread. Vegan Bechamel? Count me in! The flatbread is also actually flat bread! The crust is probably the thinnest I’ve ever seen, which is great for me because I love thin crust.
Read moreThe menu is seasonal, so it’s always nice to come back and try this place again. Knocking one star only because I was very unhappy with the Spicy Yellow Curry. I can usually handle my spice, but when they say spicy, they really mean it here. 🥵
Pros: All vegan, Seasonal, Pleasant location

Great food - Edit
Went for brunch and really enjoyed the creative dishes.
Read moreThe lox tartine had that nice smoky, salty, slightly fishy taste of smoked lox but still with some carrot crunch.
The french toast itself was not that great, mainly because sourdough is not really a good bread for french toast. But that cream cheese mousse was fantastic! I wished I could buy that in tubs. The roasted hazelnuts were also scrumptious, so overall it was a really nice dish.
Will definitely try to make it back for dinner some day.

Creative plant based restaurant with good service - Edit
Creative plant based restaurant with good service. Conveniently located in a shopping center. My wife & I have had the polenta cakes, mezze plate, green forest flatbread, potato flatbread, butternut squash ravioli, lentil shepherd's pie, spicy yellow curry, risotto primavera, warm chocolate cake, coconut Panna Cotta, cookie, beet soda, & cucumber basil shrub soda. The good has always been great. We've had other items at their San Francisco location as well.

Excellent - Edit
Was expecting so much more focus on plant-based in the Bay Area, disappointed, especially in the city, until we found Wildseed in PA - so happy to finally find a place serving such delicious and inspiring plant-based dishes. Should be on everyone’s bucket list if they’re visiting Palo Alto.

Fancy food, fancy place, fancy people - Edit
Wildseed is a breath of fresh air for the vegan scene in the South Bay / Peninsula. They truly offer classy, high end, inspired food and they focus on making every dish a hands down winner. I used to go to Wildseed’s first restaurant in San Francisco and was so happy when they opened a location in Palo Alto!
Read moreThe menu begins with a list of what ingredients are in season, and the dishes rotate to incorporate those seasonal fruits and vegetables. There seems to always be a risotto, two flatbread pizzas, three salads, and a few classic items such as Neatball Masala that always remain. But the flavors and ingredients like flatbread toppings are refreshed several times a year. The only downside is you get attached to the really good dishes and hate to see them go away!
Pros: Inspired food made by true culinary professionals , Superior cocktail game, Seasonal
Cons: Very expensive, Hidden fees on check

Great brunch options for vegans - Edit
Went here on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. The place was quite busy but has plenty of seating so no wait times. The decor, location and ambience is all pretty good. Staff is friendly. Food is great and imaginative. When I read the other reviews, I thought this place may be over hyped. While I don't think it's the best vegan food I've had, I think it's pretty good and the whole meal experience was pretty enjoyable. I would surely visit this place again esp in other seasons as they use seasonal produce.
