used to be good, now quality suffers - Edit
If you can't get something at Country Sun or at Whole Foods in Los Altos (much superior to this store), then this is a reasonable second choice, their slimy ("fair trade, schmair trade") business practices notwithstanding. We've had trouble with their prepared foods (guacamole, hummus, and made-on-premises sandwiches) such that we no longer patronize this store.

Not great produce, but excellent salad bar - Edit
I agree with the other reviewer that the quality of some produce is lacking. I got tired of buying fruits there, just to have them already moldy the next day (something that would never happen in our farmer's market). But, on the other hand, their salad bar is excellent and inexpensive, with a large variety of vegetables and beans.
Pros: good salad bar
Cons: expensive, not good quality
