Great - Edit
Delicious healthy vegan options. I personally found their coffee too dark/bold but that’s just not my preference so I didn’t deduct any stars. The muffins and mango oat bars are very good. My two year old loved her smoothie and cookie. They have high chairs, and the restrooms look clean. Plenty of parking.

Great stop for dinner (lunch) - Edit
I got the bean chilli from here which was delicious! Also a green juice which was less delicious... and a golden milk latte which was extremely tasty! We took away ‘oreos’ and hazelnut truffles. The staff were great, the inside temperature was on the cold side. There’s lots of juice and smoothie options. I wish I could go back!

Delicious vegan bakery! - Edit
Stopped her for lunch and was not disappointed. So many amazing vegan bakery items. The chocolate chip cookie was so good. I tried the vegan lasagna and was amazed at how good it was. Also had the “hulk” smoothie with kale, spinach, chia, flax milk. Tasted good and super healthy. Will definitely be coming back even though I live near Boston.

It's rare to find things in the area. Both the smoothies and baked goods are delicious. It's a bit out of the way for me but I'd still make the drive out to get something.

Amazing Cupcakes & Raw Food! - Edit
Ive been here many times, and it never disappoints! I love that they have raw options- my favorites being the raw lasagna and raw cheesecake! All of the cupcakes are delicious. They have traditional and unique flavors which is really awesome. They even have dog treats that my pup loooooves! And all of my non-veg friends and fam love everything theyve tried from here as well.
Read moreIt is a bit pricey there, if you buy a few things it does add up.
And I've noticed that some of the raw dishes sell out fast. It's also generally pretty busy there so if you have to be somewhere give yourself some extra time.
Pros: unique and delicous cupcakes, amazing raw dishes, dog treats
Cons: always busy, pricey, sells out fast

Awesome! - Edit
This place is so cute and everything is vegan! Its so refreshing to be able to get baked goods without all of the animal products! And they have other food besides baked goods too so you could get a whole meal, plus dessert, if you wanted! I would definitely recommend it!

Visiting from Denver, my uncle took me here. I bought a cookie dough cupcake and loved it! I also ordered a 6” cake to pick up later for my husbands birthday. I assume it will be good or better than the cupcake but I will update my review if it ends up being a flop.

Best Vegan Pastries in RI - Edit
So many gluten free and vegan options. My husband and I had the peanut butter & chocolate cupcake, the blueberry muffin and the chocolate cookie. All three tasted delicious and not too sweet, just perfectly balanced and we could not tell that everything was gluten and dairy free!

Lovely bakery - Edit
I went to this bakery with my friends and it was so difficult to choose what to have! Everything looked so good. Finally I chose a cookie cupcake and it was delicious, with a piece of a cookie on the top and inside, all with chocolate and a nice cream. The entire bakery it´s vegan, they have also pizza, smoothies, etc. You can seat inside or in the terrace. Average price. Friendly staff, they recommend you what to order depending on your preferences. You need probably car to get there but I guess it´s normal in USA (European perspective ;)

the vegan bakery standard is set here - Edit
I have frequented Wildflour since it's opening, and am never disappointed with the quality of items- only sometimes with the selection if I arrive too late in the day after things have sold out. Last week I visited for the first time in years and was sad that there were not more raw options, but I understand I didn't get there early enough for the full selection. The smoothies, coffee drinks and desserts have always, every time, been the best quality on par with any I have sampled in cities like NYC and Seattle. I heart Wildflour.

Great Little Bakery - Edit
I had a cookie dough cupcake and a coffee. It was very good. My wife had a lavender lemon cupcake, which she said was the best vegan cupcake she ever had. She even remarked that she had never seen a cupcake like that, vegan or otherwise. It's in a hidden corner of a strip mall, which is a nice place to sit outside and chill or people watch.

Yummy Ice Cream! - Edit
I was visiting a friend in the area, and he recommended we stop by this place. The selection was great, and it was awesome to see so many vegan options available in one place. I tried the mint brownie ice cream, which was coconut-milk based. It was some of the best housemade vegan ice cream I've had in the CT/RI area: cool and creamy with little chunky bits of brownie. I devoured it before I had a chance to take a photo. My husband had the savory knot, which reminded me of the cross between a croissant and foccacia bread. Delicious.

Pros: Great selection, Some of the best vegan ice cream I've had, Proximity to Garden Grille
Cons: How to choose?!?, A little pricey

UPDATE 6/13/17
Read moreMy next trip to RI I decided to give Wildflour a second chance and I'm so glad I did! The service was the complete opposite of what I experienced two years ago - extremely friendly employees, even on busy weekend mornings with a line of people.
This time around, we tried a lot of different items, and I brought 4 other people with me on three different visits (yes, I was here three different days during my four day trip). My favorite items were definitely the scones: the peach ginger was the perfect sweet type, while the sour cream and scallion was a sensational savory one. My mom, who has Celiac Disease, was overwhelmed with the gluten free choices. She was so excited to see a gluten free cake! My husband was obsessed with the coffee, so we started each morning with the ice coffee blend.
Overall, this place definitely made me a believer and I understand now why it is so popular. Keep up the good work and friendly environment, it will give me a reason to visit R.I. more often!
First Review June 2015
I give this place 3 "cows" mainly because (I believe) it is the only entirely vegan food establishment in the state of Rhode Island. I'm super spoiled and live in NYC where vegan restaurants, cafes, and bars are pretty common, so maybe my standards are a bit high. It's definitely a cute little cafe with a lot of variety. Also, it's awesome they offer gluten free options for those who follow that diet.
Unfortunately, the staff here really left a sour taste in my mouth. The man that took my order on Saturday afternoon was extremely abrupt and acted as though all the customers -- you know the people paying his salary -- were a huge inconvenience. Don't even get me started on how he refused to place my change in my hand, but instead placed the bills and coins on the counter and SLID THEM over to me, even though I had my hand out and open to accept change! Seriously, who does that?!
Anyways in regards to the food, I tried a blueberry scone and a cupcake and found them just okay. Both pastries were overly sweet to the point that I couldn't finish them. If I still lived in the 401, I would probably come back and try something else and hopefully experience better customer service, but until then this is not a place I would necessarily recommend until their staff learns manners.

I like it. I've been here twice and dispite other reviews I found the couple of different counter staff to be friendly every time. The first time I had the vegan chili withheld jalapeño corn bread and a tea...cost approx. $10. It was very good. I went back a couple of days latter and got a slice of the ginger molasses bread. They heated it up for me (as requested) and it was delicious. It was less than $3 for a hardy slice. I like the atmosphere and decor. I don't mind that it's in a strip mall, makes parking easy. Also the patrons seem pretty friendly as well. If I had to name a drawback it would be that sometimes the musical selection is uninteresting, but not really a big deal. I'd also like the prices to be a bit lower for some items, but again, not a huge issue. This is a place I would visit again.
