Cookie Sandwich Dream Come True - Edit
It’s been ages since I had a vegan cookie sandwich and the dreamwich was everything I didn’t know I needed. There was another cookie sandwich and vegan scoops to choose from. Great to have options!

Waited in a long line to choose from two available vegan options. Decided on the Bridge Creek Birch which has an oat milk base swirled with birch syrup. Tasted decent but not wow. I would’ve tried the Dreamwich but it was sold out. Bummer! Surprised there were so many sold out items at noon on a Saturday. Nice to have some vegan options though.

The vegan scoop option wasn't that exciting, so we ordered the two types of ice-cream sandwiches. (One had chocolate cookies, the other chocolate chip, otherwise pretty similar.) The line moved surprisingly quickly, and the ice cream was tasty. I mean, really, really good! Soft, but not too soft... Definitely worth the drive into downtown.

Tasty vegan ice cream - Edit
I was reluctant to wait in the long line that always seems to be present outside this place. But I’m glad I did. It actually moved pretty fast. I got a vegan cake batter flavored scoop in a sugar cone. The sugar cones are vegan, but the waffle cones are not. The ice cream was very tasty, made from oat milk. It had rainbow sprinkles in it, but there could have been more of those. There was also a vegan mango sorbet that I didn’t try.

I love going to Wild Scoops when I am out and about in Anchorage! Quick service and friendly staff make each visit enjoyable. I love they they rotate flavors and always have a vegan option!

This small ice-cream window shop on downtown anchorage is a real find for vegans. At my visit they had vegan cake batter with sprinkles and mango sorbet with chilli lime sauce.

Wow - the dreamwich! - Edit
We went here three times during the trip - what does that tell you? The only disappointment was that their only vegan option was a sorbet that didn't sound like what we were in the mood for. That feeling disappeared when we had the ice cream cookies. We went back for a dreamwich two additional nights - it's that good.
