Wir haben unsere Hochzeitsparty im Restaurant Wicklow's gehabt. Es hat alles super geklappt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Die Deko war super. Das Essen hat allen gut geschmeckt, auch den Nicht-Veganern. Marion, die Besitzerin hat sogar eine vegane Hochzeitstorte für uns gebacken. Die Kinder fanden es super, weil sie zwischendurch auf der Wiese vor dem Restaurant spielen konnten. Ich fand die Atmosphäre sehr schön. Und der Preis hat auch gestimmt. Insgesamt war es super. Vielen Dank noch einmal Marion für das gelungene Fest. Ich empfehle allen Veganern und Vegetariern ihre Hochzeit im Wicklow's zu feiern.

Ich und meine Freundin waren gestern da und das Essen war wirklich lecker. Sie hat die Tarte gegessen und ich hatte einen Flammkuchen. Auch der anschließende Kuchen war super.

A new vegan cafe in Nippes, on the flora street, which is not very easy to find.

But the service is extremely slow and the owner is too chatty. I was there with a friend and she intercut our conversation more than 4 times.
I will recommend to give a try, tho. There are not many vegan places in that part of the city.
Pros: pet friendly, reasonable prices, tasty food
Cons: location is not good, chatty owner, slow service

Klar: Die Tasse war zu groß – es war somit schon zu viel Milch für einen Cappuccino. Die Milch an sich war viel zu sehr geschäumt und hatte eine deutlich zu feste Konsistenz und der Espresso hatte einen unangenehm säuerlichen Geschmack.

Hallo nochmal, vielen Dank für Ihre Antwort! Denn nur so können wir etwas verbessern. Sie sind dann wohl ein echter Kaffee-Kenner und -Genießer, freut uns! Kommen Sie doch die Tage nochmal vorbei und wir versuchen es nochmal mit einem Cappucino aufs Haus. Es ist interessant: die meisten wollen nämlich die Milch genau so haben: möglichst schaumig und auch meistens möglichst viel. Ich weiß, dass das dann eher ein Milchkaffee mit Schaum ist, aber der Gast ist bekanntlich König. Ihr Kommentar führt jetzt bei uns dazu, dass wir die Gäste fragen: viel Milch, moderat oder wenig und wie sehr geschäumt - so sollte es für jeden den richtigen Genuß geben :-) Der Espresso ist eine sehr gute Bio-Marke, bisher hat er jedem geschmeckt (ich mag ihn selbst auch) - Welchen mögen Sie denn gerne? Guten Bio-Espresso gibt es in Köln beispielsweise bei Van Dyck in Ehrenfeld (dort machen die übrigens auch einen sehr guten Soja-Cappuccino).

Herzlich und gemütlich - Edit
Wir waren positiv von der Gastfreundschaft überrascht und durften uns überall durchprobieren. Der RAW Cake und der Streuselkuchen waren ein Traum, auch die Pesto war ein kulinarisches Highlight. Weiterhin viel Erfolg, wir kommen gerne wieder.

We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and were allowed to try us everywhere. The RAW Cake and crumb cake were to die for, the pesto was a culinary highlight. Continued success, we would definitely come back.

das wicklow´s kann man sehr empfehlen, denn die speisen sind halt wie daheim bei mutti ;)

I had been looking forward to and was not disappointed.
the wicklow's can highly recommend it because the dining are just as at home with mom;)

Das frisch eröffnete Wicklows überzeugt bereits auf den ersten Blick durch seine alternativ-stilvolle Einrichtung und die gemütlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten.
Read moreDas Essen schmeckt extrem gut und ist auch sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Man merkt, dass die Besitzerin viel Herzblut in ihre Arbeit steckt und sich viel Zeit fürs Kochen nimmt!
Der Service ist deshalb auch absolut zufriedenstellend, die Inhaberin gibt gerne Auskünfte über Inhaltsstoffe und Zubereitung ihrer Gerichte und besticht dabei durch ihre nette offene Art.
Insgesamt ein wirklich zu empfehlendes kleines feines Restaurant, das man gerne wieder besucht.

This newly-opened Wicklow already convinced at first glance by its alternative-stylish furnishings and cozy seating.
The food was extremely good and is also done very nicely. You can tell that the owner puts a lot of heart and soul into their work and takes a lot of time for cooking!
The service is therefore absolutely satisfactory, the owner happy to provide information on ingredients and preparation of their dishes and impresses by its nice open way.
Overall a really recommendable small fine restaurant that you like to visit again.
