Most vegan options in town

Had the apple pancakes, glow juice and flat white.
Got chickpea salad and a brownie for takeaway.

🥞 were delish and the juice was very good. Juice felt cheap compared to everything else in this city!

Lots of other options in the cabinet, sandwhich, fritter, muffins, other baked goods

Pros: Amount of options , Good fresh juices, Labeled properly

Solid Brunch Spot with Cozy Vibes ☕️

We stopped by Vudu Café for brunch and really enjoyed it. The outdoor seating had such a cozy, relaxed atmosphere — perfect for a sunny morning in Queenstown.

Yum

Such a lovely little spot in a great location. Always love the variety of vegan options—both on the menu and in the cabinet. Had the tofu scrambled which has lots of flavour!! The cakes and sweets are seriously good. Vegan muffins never miss, but the chocolate ganache brownie, honestly next level. So good.

Fav Coffee

We didn’t get to sit in and eat here as it was always really busy. I did get the vegan muffin a couple of times take away though and it was really good. They use Wolff Coffee Roasters which is good coffee

Pros: Vegan muffins , Coffee

Cons: Very busy

Delicious Pancakes!

Vudu is right in the hustle and bustle of Queenstown so it seems like it’s probably always pretty busy! We lucked out and got a table, it can be a bit hectic having to wait to order at the till and it took a little bit of time for our order to arrive but coffees came out relatively quickly.

The main menu doesn’t have a lot of options but my husband and I both loved the Cherry Pancakes! A good big stack of fluffy pancakes with cherries and a yummy almond butter coconut whip.

The cabinet had a few goodies like raw bars, a frittata and a pretty nice Biscoff cinnamon scroll.

Pros: Pancakes were ace! , Nice and warm inside , Good coffee and fresh juices

Cons: Tight space for ordered at the till when busy

Great vegan cakes

Abit small and cramped inside however they have a whole shelf of vegan cakes. Chocolate coated chocolate and raspberry mouse, snickers and ginger cheesecake bars. That kinda thing. Great location and pricing not too bad.

Pros: Location, Vegan offering

Cons: Cramped, Little outside space

Nice coffee and tasty sweet treat

Got an Oat Latte (they charge extra for milk alts) and their plant based raw Snickers bar. Coffee was really good and the bar was tasty, a little bit pricey for the size, but expected for Queenstown. They have inside and outside seating facing the lake, and can get really busy.

Pros: Coffee was good! , Snickers bar was tasty

Cons: A little pricey, Snickers bar was a little small

Great selection, very tasty

Not fully vegan but their vegan selection is so wide, a lot of vegan and gluten free too. So far as a friendship group we have collectively tried the granola bowl, raw ginger slice, carrot cake, falafel wrap, soup and fritters and all have been 10/10

Pros: Great service , Tasty food and great range , Tasty coffee

I keep coming back

Been coming here for coffee and food for many Queenstown trips. Now, as a vegan there are multiple tasty options to choose from. Be prepared to sit outside or wait for a table at busy times

Good food in organised chaos

Had the pancakes and the miso hash, both were very tasty - they also have daily vegan specials in the cabinet.
The place is small & busy but well run, usually a small wait for a table, they turnover pretty quickly & they'll bring drinks to spot where you wait.

Hidden but Busy Yum Spot

Went twice! Took me a few pass bys to find the place but it was busy inside. Seems to be the same restaurant as Bespoke but I liked Vudu much better. Same bakery items. Similar food but slightly different menu. Good
Juice and stellar pancakes.

Pros: Lots of options, Vegan baked goodies

Cons: Busy

Great Breakfast Cafe

Loved this cafe, the atmosphere at the water, the staff and the perfekt, fluffy, delicious and excellent presented vegan pancakes.
They also put a lot more vegan options on the menu, so you can choose and don’t have to go with the only vegan dish at the menu.
I can highly recommend to try some of their self made juice’s or smoothies. Pretty delicious and healthy.
It’s still a bit pricey, but it’s what you have to pay to eat at the frontlake-area.

Pros: Great menu, lots of vegan options, Delicious food, Very friendly staff

Cons: Bit pricey , Order at the counter

Pros: Great coffee, Tofu scramble very tasty

Good vegan options

I had their pancakes and it was well presented. Taste wise it's okay, i wouldn't say I was blown away, but it's something to still try and enjoy in the morning

Just OK - most vegan options are health food

Typical low effort vegan cafe food - bliss balls, raw slice etc. We had the chocolate tart which I had high hopes for but it was really average, tasted overwhelmingly of coconut oil. Shame there weren't some proper baking options.

Pros: Some vegan options

Cons: All of them are boring health food

Great food, great location

After a quick google search this popped up. The good reviews were spot on. Great menu options and outdoor seating by the water make it a perfect lunch spot. Bean burrito and the mushroom arancini were great. A good selection of fresh juices topped off a perfect lunch.

A good breakfast option

Had pancakes for breakfast and were fabulous! The only thing I didn't like about them was the maple syrup, which only felt like melted sugar. The cafe has lots of vegan options on menu and on the counter. Would go again to try the chia pudding.
Before going there, be prepared to wait a little bit longer than usual to get the food because it's busy during mornings.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Friendly staff

Cons: Pricey

Lovely location and tasty food

This cafe is in an awesome location, right on the waterfront, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Unfortunately there aren't many vegan options and I found the tofu scramble a bit too salty. However, overall it was a great experience.

Pros: Great location, Friendly staff, Quick service

Cons: Not many vegan options

So many greens in both dishes… well worth the $42 spent. The service was excellent with a staff member who is also Vegan chatting with us! We will return!

Breakfast bagel

The vegan breakfast bagel is delicious!!! Vegan egg, avocado, alfalfa sprouts and chutney. The egg seemed to be chickpea based. Delicious start to the day. The oat coffee was perfect too!

Pros: Multiple vegan options, Mixed prices
