Breakfast with the cool kids - Edit
Lovely place and very busy, but was lucky to get a table for myself. I wanted a warm hearty breakfast so ordered the vegan garlic mushrooms on sourdough. It was toast with hummus and mushrooms/avo/red onion on top. Very tasty, but a shame the hummus and avo turned it into a cold breakfast. Lots of vegan counter food I'll try next time.
Read morePros: Busy and welcoming, Friendly staff, Lots of vegan options at the counter
Cons: Expensive for what I ended up with, Breakfast was luke warm due to cold ingredients.

We were looking for a casual cafe lunch with vegan options and this hit the spot! Seems like a popular place. Enjoyed vegan creamy mushroom bagel and tasty juices as well.

Super trendy and atmospheric (and popular) place. They sell Allpress coffee and beans too if you want a gift. The desserts all look phenomenal and around half are vegan. They vegan savoury options too plus oat milk for coffee. Also have WiFi and sparkling water on tap

An unmitigated disaster - Edit
My partner and I stopped in for lunch. Most of the tables were taken, but there was a queue forming near the counter at the back. We line up for a few minutes and decide to get some food and coffee takeaway instead of trying to get a table in what’s already looking like a war zone.
Read moreSoon, one of the front-of-house staff starts walking along the queue and asks if anyone is getting takeaway, so she pulls us out and takes us to the register so she can take our order. Sweet!
We ask for a menu so we can get some food to go. She looks at us with confusion and says we can pick out something from the counter if we want. This would be the counter we’ve now bypassed because she pulled us out of the queue.
We turn around to try and figure out what wet want. There’s a queue of people impatiently waiting, and we can’t see through them funny enough. So, what… we now need to line up again so we can see what’s in the counter display as we queue up and walk past it?
Ugh… forget about it. What a disaster. Some cafés run like a Swiss watch. This place runs like a $5 plastic piece of crap from Fisher-Price that’s been backed over by an SUV.
Cons: Poorly run, Zero FOH organisation

Our favourite place in QT - Edit
This is our favourite cafe in Queenstown. We have fallen in love with Matcha latte and big offer of sweets, especially a raspberry muffin and raw twix bar. For coffee you can choose from soy, almond or coconut milk. You can stay in the cafe and enjoy a lake view or take away your order with combustamble covers and cuttlery - big thumbs up!

Good - Edit
Nice place, they have a lot of vegan options. The pancakes are good but very rich. It's always very busy and you have to queue to order at the counter, a bit frustrating.

Jam packed lunches - Edit
Easily found with seating inside and out, we unfortunately got our timings wrong and arrived right in the middle of lunch. It was heaving so try to avoid the peak time. Luckily got a table fast but had to queue for a while and also wait for the food.

Vegan brunch - Edit
We had the vegan pancakes and the vegan mushroom on bread. Both were delicious. Pancakes were moist and paired with different fruit. Vegan mushrooms came with greens and savory cream sauce. They had a few vegan breakfast options. We also had their soymilk lattes-average coffee by New Zealand standards but excellent for US standard.

Vegan cheesecakes! - Edit
It's a nice little cafe with a lot of sweet vegan options but not many savoury ones. We had an Asian style dish (can't remember the name but it as lovely!) and them we tried a couple of sweets.. one of the best vegan cheesecakes I ever had! Presentation was lovely, with fresh flowers, etc. A nice place by the lake.

Healthy Vegan Options - Edit
Vudu has a decent range of vegan options, I went with the pancakes which were okay, perhaps a poor choice for what I like. Busy little cafe but options are clearly labelled and the juice I got was really tasty. Overall not my taste but not too bad either, I feel this is directed at the health conscious.

A vegan risotto was the only vegan option on the paper menu. The day I went the cabinet food available included a vegan bagel and a vegan frittata.

Almost none savoury options - Edit
I've been there to have breakfast, but they only offered one vegan savoury option (samosa), although the food displayer was full of raw desserts. Ended up going to another place.

Well made, beautifully presented food - Edit
Although there are few vegan options the food here is made to a very high standard. It is beautifully prepared and the taste is wonderful. I had the oat and quinoa porridge, which came beautifully presented with a range of toppings - definitely Instagram-worthy. The portion size was great for the price too and I was overly satisfied with the amount of food I was given. They also provide coconut, almond or soy milk to put in hot drinks.
Read moreThe menu does not have a great range of vegan items but sometimes the specials are vegan so check the board behind the counter.
Another plus is the very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, but it can get very busy and crowded (I got there at opening time as I had been forewarned about its popularity).
Pros: High standard food, Good value, Nice atmosphere
Cons: Can be very busy, Limited vegan options

Worth a visit for the Bircher muesli alone.... - Edit
We went here for Breakfast. The vegan Bircher muesli was a highlight. Really tasty. Great coffee and good prices. The cabinet food was labeled vegan & DF as it is when we dined today. Nice.

Unhelpful - Edit
First, the good stuff: they have vegan Bircher museli on the menu, the interior of the cafe was nice and the staff were pleasant. But. I wanted a savoury breakfast, and despite having hummus, avocado and tomato on the menu in seperate dishes, they refused to put them together on toast for a savoury vegan breakfast for me. They also hadn't labeled the vegan stuff in the cabinet as vegan, so you have to ask, and it's so busy that when you get to the till to order, you can't see the food in the cabinet any more. They also spend a lot of time wandering around with orders looking for the right customer. Then when they finally brought me my toast, it had honey and butter instead of the preserves I'd ordered. Very disappointed, won't go back
