Birthday

We enjoyed our cheeseboard here celebrating a birthday with family (a group of 5 vegans). The staff were helpful and knew which drinks were vegan too. We supplemented the cheeseboard with 3 additional starters, during the meal we also ordered more bread which came with balsamic and oil. Some of our group had tried the cheeseboard a year ago when it seemed to include a choice of cheeses, now it is only one and we asked for others to be added. The onions (which are one of the starters) were my personal highlight but everyone loved everything. Some discussion though about mixing fruit with savoury! Hahaha!

Pros: Tasty

Cons: Bit pricey so ok for a treat

Amazing cheeseboard

Went here for my birthday treat and did not disappoint. Best cheeseboard iv ever tasted!! Great selection of cheese, nuts, fruit, pickles, capers and hummus. The vegan white wine which accompanied was amazing. The venue is beautiful and option to sit outdoors. Although quite expensive it is 100% worth it. Never had vegan cheese like it. My omni husband and vegan 3 year old shared and both absolutely loved it.

Wide choice of vegan cheeses

Really nice resteraunt set inside of the green ginger arcade. Wide choice of vegan cheeses from Tyne cheese and la fauxmegerie, nothing like the vegan cheeses available in supermarkets. The cheeseboard was well presented with nuts and fruits and some other sides. The vegan wines were really good also. We'll definitley be back.

Beautiful vegan cheese board

Where else can you get such a fancy and authentic feeling cheese board as a vegan? Great array of Tyne Cheases with various fruits, veg, crackers and bread. Loved it! Also the vegan wine option is fab.

Pros: Vegan cheese board

Cons: Only one vegan red wine option
