great every day food - Edit
I loved it. A broad selection of good basic vegan food like fresh salads, starters, soup, main dishes, stews a.s.o.
I loved the homemade beetroot lemonade, what a treat!
If it's sunny, it's great to sit outside!

Warmly recommend! - Edit
I'm very glad that Village Green has opened this new all-vegan cafe/restaurant in Tel Aviv! There is quite a large selection of hot and cold foods, breakfast, and desserts. You can avail yourself of the self-service hot and cold bars by paying for the large or small portion and you are given bowls that you can fill with whatever strikes your fancy. The hot bar has all kinds of stews like curried vegetables and the cold bar is basically a salad bar with some nice touches in addition to vegetables like black lentil salad, macaroni salad, spicy tofu cubes and much more. The breakfast is big and comes with scrambled tofu, dark bread, spreads, a self-service salad, fresh-squeezed juice (even pomegranate in season) and a hot beverage, which you can have made with soy or almond milk.
There are also burgers, lasagna, and quiche which come with the self-service salad.
The desserts are made with whole wheat flour and no sugar. Instead, natural sweeteners like apple juice are used. There are muffins, tiramisu, a fruit and almond cream tart, and more. The selection will vary from day to day.
The food is delicious, and it's very pleasant whether you sit indoors or out.
Pros: All vegan with great selection, Reasonable prices, Pleasant and peaceful atmosphere

Boring slushy food - Edit
Food is naff and bland. Only stayed because of how lovely and helpful the less hare-Krishna looking guy is. To avoid the unappealing buffet I ordered a pizza. Don't! It's not even a pizza, but a saggy slab of chewy bread with some unconnected boiled tofu spread on top, no wonder it takes them only 1 min to serve it. Then the lemonade is just coloured water. Next time I will rather go to a supermarket nearby and buy a piece of bread and some mineral water, it'll be cheaper and much tastier.
Pros: Staff
Cons: Food
