Vegan Cafe - Edit
Visiting from out of town, we stopped at the Poland Library to see its architectural beauty and of course, get some vegan snacks! The cafe had a number of pre-made options like salads, soups, baked goods, etc. Everything is vegan so of course we bought plenty to take home. The employees were super friendly and even recommended some other vegan places to check out (in Pittsburgh).

I expected this to be in the same plaza as the library but no! It’s inside on the lower level/parking lot level! They apparently change up the menu every week. I was lucky enough to come during “Summerween” where everything was Halloween themed! I had a creamcicle drink with orange pop and oat milk ice cream; a burger; and pumpkin mac and cheese. They had two mac and cheese options, summerween mac and cheese was slightly spicy and THE BEST MAC AND CHEESE I’VE EVER HAD. So so so good! They also have little prepackaged treats (protein bars mostly) and I got some prepackaged halva. The menu is small but very good! Would come back if I was in this area again. Staff was so nice and explained both the menu and the library events. Very happy!

Read moreThey make their vegan "meats" in house and they have absolutely nailed it. This quiet quaint cafe is tucked away in the Poland library, which is a beautiful location to begin with. The food is absolutely amazing.
Probably the best breakfast burrito in the US. The pastries are phenomenal as well. You literally can't go wrong with their menu.

Best sub ever - Edit
We were passing through on our way to Pennsylvania and I’m so happy I found this little place!! It’s inside the Poland Library (which is beautiful and amazing by itself). We had the Godfather Italian sub and it was the best sub sandwich I’ve ever had!! The little cafe was so unique and we absolutely loved the aesthetic!! We will definitely be back anytime we are nearby!

This restaurant is located in the Poland Library, and is one of my favorite finds in the Youngstown Area so far! Their menu changes week to week, and I love stopping in and seeing what's new. The coffee is incredible, and the pastries are amazing. Of course, the lunch menu is my favorite. They have food that is to-go to take with you as well as a dining area to eat. I love checking their social media pages for the beautiful pictures of the food as well as what is new. I have yet to have something that I didn't immediately fall in love with.

For the past few weeks, we have visited Village Farmacy regularly and enjoyed a variety of FRESH, delicious vegan food! Today, we enjoyed awesome breakfast burritos & a carot 'lox' bagel sandwich. We love the creativity of the food here, and ots ALWAYS fresh, delicious, & vegan! I've enjoyed the quiche, Ruben, Gyros, pasta dishes, Mac & cheese! Try it out & support this local business at the Poland library.
