It’s a lovely restaurant and the staff are very nice, speaking good English.

However, I was slightly disappointed by the food. I had the pizza which was fine, probably more of a flatbread than a pizza and I’m not sure the flavours really worked. It came with a few dips which I thought was a nice touch but they were all fairly tasteless.

Best vegan pizza - Edit
I ate the most protein-rich, tasty and creative vegan pizza ever at Vida Vegan Bistro and the freshly-prepared lemonade was refreshing and delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the playlist was chill and the waitress was accommodating and sweet (even gifted us a small souvenir!). We‘ll definitely come back another time during our stay in Cusco!

We came by yesterday, but unfortunately only drinks were available, so we decided to leave. However, the owner (or at least we think he was the owner) kindly told us to come back the next day and promised us complimentary drinks.
Read moreSo we did! We returned today and enjoyed a truly delicious meal. The kind gentleman immediately remembered us and asked what we would like to drink.
Since we were the only guests, several dishes on the menu were unavailable, and according to the opening hours the restaurant was actually supposed to be closed today, we believe he opened the restaurant especially for us.
We had an amazing meal and can’t put into words how grateful we are for this wonderful evening. Thank you so much for your incredible hospitality.

The restaurant has a really nice ambience and also a versatile and creative menu. The food was good, nothing mind blowing but good. The service was a bit slow though, which was surprising since we arrived there quite early before there were any other guests.

Huge portions! The causa with three sauces was very good and the crema andina de zapallo super comforting. Highly recommended. Puré con “bistec” (seitán) a la plancha was a hit.
We really enjoyed talking to our host, seeing the locally made vegan lotions and creams they sell, and hearing about how they are planning to make Vida Vegan even better in the future.

I highly reccomend going to vida vegan in Cusco! As a vegan, I always deeply appreciate restaurants that are completely vegan. The service was absolutely amazing, the restaurant was beautiful and the food/drinks so delicious. The best quinoa soup I have ever had!

Kind staff, but the food was a bit underwhelming for us. Oddly, the restaurant was completely empty on a Saturday night, we were the only table the whole time we were there. I belive someone else mentioned this in a previous review too. 🤷🏼♀️

We love the food here and the detox juices. Everything is fresh. And the staff is great. They even made me a hot herbal tea free of charge when they seen I was a little sick. Thank you guys! Will come back anytime we are in Cusco! Peace and Love.

We came here twice, and I ordered the salad both times! We haven’t see very many salads in Cusco, so it was nice to see two salads on the menu! I liked the salad I ordered the first time so much that I ordered it again the second time! I also really liked the pizza! And the leftover pizza tasted great the next two days also!

Unfortunately the atmosphere was a bit lacking on our visit. We went on a Saturday night for dinner thinking that we’d be lucky to get a table, but we ended up being the only customers and felt like a bit of a nuisance and like they were wanting to hurry and close up.

Ended up ordering mushroom ceviche and a burger. My ceviche was good but not the best I’ve had - there was a lot of other stuff on the plate besides the ceviche that sort of overwhelmed it. My partner enjoyed his burger.

The presentation was absolutely stunning — every dish looked like a work of art with colorful flowers and fresh ingredients. However, the flavors felt like there was a bit too much going on in each plate. The best part of the meal was definitely the potatoes.

We had quinoa soup (really tasty, warm and filling), and the anticucho Seitan thing which was also good but nothing too impressive for us. Papaya juice was freshly made and the lemonade with mint and coconut was really good. The inside was cosy and the staff very nice. We paid 82 soles for 2 meals and 2 drinks.

I loved my experience at Vida Vegan. Already on the way to the upper floor, where the restaurant is located, you are welcomed by a fairytale like decoration. The dining room itself also spreads a very cozy and tasteful vibe. The menu is versatile with many good sounding dishes. I chose their signature salad plus the quinoa soup. Portion sizes were huge, the presentation was beautiful, the taste outstanding, and the service was fast and kind. Truly a must visit, when in Cusco.
