Do yourself a favor and try this place. Everything was incredible. We had the Ironman salad, cauliflower pizza (omg!) and dessert of the day that was a some type of delicious cheesecake. I’ll definitely come back to try everything else. This is not fast food so don’t expect your meal in two minutes.

I went here on the way to my hotel before the Miami Marathon. I had a butternut soup and the cauliflower crust pizza. Both were delicious. It has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I believe it was the owner who was serving and chatting with us. When I told him why I was there, and that unfortunately I wasn’t going to have time to get back there over the weekend, he brought out his wife, the chef, and they brainstormed what they could give me that wouldn’t oxidize over the next couple days. So instead of a juice, the chef made me what she said she uses (they’re triathletes!) as a recovery smoothie with beets, etc. Instead of all the junk they had after the race, I had that when I got back to my hotel and it hit the spot. This is definitely on my pre-race agenda for next year!

(This was my experience last year on my first visit, I already went several more times, including a cooking class). We were warmly welcomed by everyone, including the chef, and served complimentary hummus with carrot and celery sticks to dip in, while devoted to the hard task of choosing our food. Everything on the menu is mouth watering! We finally ordered the butternut squash lasagna, the chickpea omelette and shared the dark chocolate ganache for dessert with coffee and tea. We also tasted the squash-carrot soup which was smoothly delicious, creamy and perfectly seasoned. I strongly recommend each item we had.

We would like to recommend this place to everyone visiting Miami. Host is very helpful and hospitality oriented. He will recommend food for you. Food is very tasty, take combo, it's good value for that price. We would visit them again if we come to US. Coffee is perfect. Prices are okay.

We were here yesterday and we had the butternut squash lasagna and the couliflour pizza! Both DELICIOUS! Worth the drive! It’s a little hidden, but you can feel the love invested in the place. Will be back hopefully soon!

Hidden gem inside a mini plaza - Edit
Located in Aventura...I was ecstatic to check out Vgan. Overall, my first dining experience there was pleasant. From what I've ordered, I would describe it as earthly meets finesse. Read moreThe place is relatively new. The menu looked promising. The appetizer that I ordered (Flax Crackers Bites) was sold out. I ordered as a main dish the Samosa Shepherd’s Pie and my father ordered the Poblano Portobello Fajitas. The presentation was nice but the portions were small for the price we paid. For dessert, we ordered the Key Lime Cashew Cheesecake and the Lemon Goji Truffles. Again nice presentation but way overpriced. The cheesecake was a tiny slice and I paid almost $10! Same for the truffles, 4 small truffles for $9.
I wouldn’t come back here only because food portions are small and overpriced.

I'm always excited to try new vegan places and root for them to succeed. So I'm sad to say my experience was disappointing.

Soup of the day: Tasted like canned vegetable soup. Completely flavorless and lackluster.
Cauliflower Pizza: basically a dry (some parts burnt and bitter in taste) cauliflower patty loaded with cooked veggies and 4 dabs of almond cream cheese. Nothing even resembling pizza in flavor which would be fine if it was actually good. It was really dry and had no sauce other than the tiny amount of cheese which was gone in 4 bites.
Key Lime cheesecake: this was the only thing worth eating. It was creamy and delicious. Too bad it's $9.20 for such a small piece.

What a gem! Had the lunch combo with carrots soup, a mango salad and the pizza main dish. Then for dessert had the key lime pie and an espresso. Every dish was better than the previous, the food felt so clean and fresh, just an absolute delight. Recommended for vegans and non vegans!

This new vegan restaurant is very quaint and has excellent menu selections. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The owners are quite involved and will take the time to greet and meet their guests.
