The ultimate vegan cake experience!

I tried their passion fruit coconut ball dessert which was simply delicious and took back on the flight 3 of their chocolate cakes which were also amazing! The ultimate vegan dessert experience, excellent quality and delicious cakes. Hope they would franchise their patisserie internationally and grow big. Highly recommended! :)

best vegan patisserie

It's a little on the pricy side but it's well and truly worth every penny. Beautifully crafted cakes, generous pastries... you wouldn't know they were vegan

Pros: lovely staff, everything they sell is delicious , attention to detail

Cons: a little pricey

I adore this place. Best pain au chocolat I ever had.

Beautiful patisserie

The treats at VG Patisserie are beautiful and very appealing to the eye, although a bit too sweet for my taste. In any case well worth a try.

Disappointed.

I can only encourage this vegan pastry approach but trying not to eat too much sugar I find it too sweet, removing the other ingredients taste...
ps : They told me that they used brown cane sugar.

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: Too sweet

loved the almond pastry

I was very excited to visit this pâtisserie but it was not really as I expected to be. They did not have éclairs, which I was hoping for or meringue treats. I tasted 8 things and there was only one I really really loved, the other things were okay but I have tasted similar or better in other places in the world. The one I loved was a pastry with almonds, don’t know the name but made a picture later (I will upload it here too along with their book), the coffee was excellent btw. I am still very happy this kind of shops are here for us vegans!

A MUST for real French food

Excellent! A MUST for any vegan visiting Paris. It is steps from a metro line 9 station.

We had: pain au chocolat, croissants, flan, and chocolate marble cake. All were excellent and vegan. SO glad we went.

Pros: Cheap and high variety, Authentic French, Delicious

Cons: Close to metro station, easy to find, Tiny size

almost indistinguishable from omni alternatives

The patisseries are almost indistinguishable from the "real" things, but just good, not incredible, versions thereof. Still, a remarkable achievement! We tried several; all were great except the pain au chocolat, which we thought suffered from the use of poor quality chocolate.

Great bakery to take away

I was surprised with the food offered at this cafe. The pastries where very tasty and cakes seemed pieces of art.

As a withdraw I would remark the place was tiny and the prices a bit expensive. They only had JUST soja milk, I missed others like oats, almond or rice milk.

Pros: Pastries and cakes

Cons: Only had soja milk, Tiny place

Good vegan pastries

A small place which offers traditional French pastries in a vegan fashion. It is good though not spectacular. The choice of viennoiseries is scarce if you come in the afternoon. There are better options in Paris.

Amazing

This place was amazing! I showed up too late to get a croissant unfortunately, but I had the lemon meringue tart instead. It was great! I took a piece of the chocolate marble cake to go and it was also delicious. I can't wait to go back to Paris so I can go there!

Pros: Amazing pastries, Friendly staff, Cute atmosphere

The finest vegan patisserie ever!

This is from a visit in June.

This was undoubtedly the finest vegan patisserie we ever had! Loved it!
We shared 3 pieces. Simply delicious.
Bottled drinks were not really cold.
Nice and bright interior.

Finally a good vegan croissant

VG pâtisserie is what was missing in Paris. I haven’t tasted everything yet (just a matter of time) but the viennoiseries and macarons are incredible. Merci merci merci, je suis tellement contente que cet établissement existe!

Delicious and traditional French pastries with several gluten free options. A little off the beaten path for most travelers but worth a visit if you’re seeking authentic flavors.

Classic French pastries made vegan!

I went there today and got a slice each of chocolate and vanilla marbled cake, and flan. The cake was very fluffy and topped with a delicious chocolate icing. The texture of the flan is on point, and while it isn't as sweet as the original, it is a very convincing vegan version.
Edit: I also tried the sacristain and the brioche suisse and they were the most delicious things I've ever had! The texture is the perfect mix between flakey and cakey, and they even taste like actual butter (???)

Excellent

Really good vegan croissants and viennoiseries

We were delighted to discover this place a few days after it opened on a visit to Paris this Spring. The croissants and pains au chocolat are really superb - in the first few days they were selling out early in the day due to higher than expected demand, and in fact had to hire an additional pastry chef hardly a week after opening. Until proper vegan croissants are more widely available I would choose to stay in this area of Paris just so as to be able to have croissants for breakfast. We also bought their recipe book and were able to recreate them successfully at home.

Pros: vegan croissants, vegan pains au raisins, vegan pains au chocolat

Cons: there's only one branch, very small space for eating in

Good French pâtisserie but...

... I expected better! I like the concept, there is quality here, but I was a bit disappointed by the viennoiseries. They are greasy and when cold, they are not very good. I think they should be more airy. For example, I really prefer the croissants from Cloud Cakes that remind me better the traditionnal ones. Moreover, I find the prices of the drinks (and more generally, all the prices) a little bit high for what you get. I ordered once a hot chocolate and I had something small (a coffee cup) with no real interest for almost five euros.

There are positive points as well, of course. I tried a yuzu cake, and I really liked it. I think they are very good for other pâtisseries than viennoiseries. If the staff makes sometimes mistakes (they are learning), they can have some business sense. They offered us once to fill the viennoiseries with almond cream, for free!

On the whole, I have mixed feelings about this place but I will try it again for sure.

Pros: vegan pâtisserie, unique in Paris

Cons: small, pricey, not the best viennoiseries in Paris, frequently out of stock

I expected better

First vegan bakery in Paris, we were so thrilled to go and finally get vegan croissants!! Unfortunately they are always very low on stock (I've been there more than a few times since the opening), and basically, there's no viennoiseries left to buy in the afternoon. The pastries are really good (and good looking too) yet the staff is not very friendly except one and makes mistakes oftenly (missing viennoiseries in the bag / to give the change).

Pros: The viennoiseries are great (when there's viennois

Cons: A bit expensive. The staff is not pleasant. Very l

It simply the only and best option you can find in Paris if you're after a taste of traditional French pastry, but vegan ! All the produces they use are organic too !
