VetoMeato is interesting. Burgers, curry dishes and a bar where you get drinks (Diet Coke and Coke Zero available). You order and pay online and pay at bar for drinks. My friend had Veto Burger (he gobbled it up m), and I had curry dish with slaw and brown rice. All very tasty. Had side of slaw, and it was spicy but not too spicy. Prices good. Just what we wanted, light quick tasty vegan lunch

Overpriced, simple vegan fastfood - Edit
The place offers a broad range of vegan menu items (burgers, wraps, etc.), which are prepared quite quickly (I only waited max. 10 minutes). However, I found the portion way too small and heavily overpriced for what you get. The wrap/burrito (or whatever it was called) was nothing special - you better go to a nearby Tesco and get the same thing for a 1/5 of the price.

Promising but needs more flavour! - Edit
I came with my fiancée for lunch after reading the positive reviews on here. I was particularly keen to try the VFC burger and Mac ‘n’ Che*se, but I was also hoping to try some other stuff. However, I just wasn’t very keen on the menu. Looking at photos on HappyCow and matching up to the menu there was just nothing else that really excited me, so we just went for the VFC burger to share and a portion of Mac ‘n’ Che*se each.
Read moreI really liked the taste and texture of the VFC patty, with my first bite into the burger I was really impressed. However, as I ate more of it I found the taste lacking. I thought it was cooked well and the patty was really good, I just didn’t rate the other fillings, just not enough flavour. The Mac ‘n’ Che*se was also cooked well, with a great texture, but again, it lacked flavour. It was disappointing because I feel like with more flavour both food items could’ve been excellent, but they were just too bland for me.
I did rate the prices though. For just £17 me and my partner got a lot of food which filled us up for hours! With a more exciting menu and a bit more flavour I could see this place being excellent!

Decent vegan food in a pub - Edit
First off, this place is pretty difficult to find. If we didn't see the stickers on the window and match the address we never would have known it's basically a ghost kitchen located inside the Old Crown Public House. That said, the pub staff were very helpful with getting us situated and answered questions regarding items on the menu.
Read moreWe ordered the VFC Burger, Asian Street Bowl, Veto Kebab and Kimchi Fries. Everything was okay, tastewise. Portions were a bit small, but the prices weren't high, so I guess that evens out. There were two of us and the four things we ordered were about enough. We weren't expecting the kebab to be a wrap, but maybe that's just a different definition between US/UK. The kimchi on the fries was not like in the states, either, although it wasn't bad.
If in the area again, might give it another chance, or maybe try something else as there were a lot of restaurants in the area that may or may not have vegan options.

Great to order something healthy in a pub environment. I had Asian bowl for just £7 but the portion size a bit small so I had to order something else. The rice was slightly undercooked and would prefer wholegrain instead of white rice. The greens with peanut sauce was delicious, though cost £3.

However, the food was not so tasty as I’ve expected.
At least, the dishes I ate.
If I’ll come back to London, I’ll give it another chance.

Really Nice VFC Burger and Good Value - Edit
VetoMeato is located inside a pub and is fully vegan although the pub is not fully vegan. Orders are placed through a QR code and sent to your table. The prices here are great and affordable. I have been wanting to try the VFC brand for a awhile so I went with the VFC burger.

Asian street bowl was delicious, ingredients all seemed very fresh, and the tofu was cooked to perfection. And at only £7 it was much cheaper than most other places in the area.

Lovely vegan food - choice of salad bowls, curries, burgers and kebabs. It’s also a pub so has nice beer & wine. We had 2 street bowl salads which were very fresh and delicious It’s actually located inside The Old Crown pub

The Asian bowl was really good. The tofu was nicely fried with some really yummy batter. The kimchi, Asian slaw only added to the mix of flavours. The only downside was the small amount of tofu on top of the meal. Otherwise it’s discretely hidden in a cute pub (so look out for the stickers to find it!!).

SO AWESOME!! super affordable compared to everything else in london, 100% vegan, and sooo tasty. i am a big fan of the brand VFC so i was super excited to see VFC products here. the VFC burger was amazing. my sister got the asian street bowl and said the tofu on it was super good but she wished there was more on it. it was so cool how this just looks like any pub on the outside(and inside!) but the kitchen is just fully plant based

I enjoyed a salad bowl, whilst the others had curries and burgers. Something for everyone.
We’re already planning another visit. My only complain is that I don’t live nearer.

It would have been better if they'd told us when we ordered that we had to collect the food upstairs. That way we wouldn't have sat in the bar downstairs for 20 minutes wondering where our food was, and we'd have enjoyed it hot rather than lukewarm.

Great food served by enthusiastic staff. The team were friendly and clearly cared about making good vegan food accessible. The restaurant has a relaxed feel and is a former pub with the same sort of look. I had a Mediterranean veg bowl and my friend had a curry, both very tasty and filling. Though we managed to squeeze in some dirty fries which were good and junk foody as they should be.

This was such a treat! It is a tradition British style pub on the main floor that serves vegan fair. It is cozy with cute decor and prime location on the corner. The food was delicious with the veto burger and fries being my favorite. There is also a bar which makes a great Pimm’s! Be sure to go upstairs to check out the funky bathroom and karaoke room.
