So Much Food!

I went here for a large lunch and boy this place did not disappoint. The portions were generous, and they kept bringing food I hadn't ordered on top of it (which I was naturally suspicious of eating, but wasn't on my bill so must have been complimentary)! I tried the pumpkin kibbeh lakteen starter which was very nice and the date juice jallab, which was very sweet but not as sweet as it could have been. The star of the show was definitely the aubergine main though! Wow! It was so delicious! The portion of rice that came with it was absolutely massive, and as you can see from the picture, I definitely struggled! To top off all the food (and while feeling absolutely stuffed), I was given a free baklava on the way out (also delicious).
The menu was clearly labelled with allergens, and food arrived quickly. It was quite pricey however.

Pros: Generous portions with complimentary extras, Tasty , Clearly labelled allergens

Cons: Pricey

Delicious Lebanese

The generous vegan mezze plate is intended for one person but on its arrival it was clear that it would serve two for lunch - or a takeaway bag of leftovers in my case. I was excited that it included muhammara as that's a rarer find than the equally tasty usual suspects and this one didn't let me down. I wasn't sure what to expect from vegan rolls - I assumed vine leaves but they were more like spring rolls with a potato-based filling.

The garlic sauce contains egg so ask them not to bring that.

It's a touristy area and the price reflects that (my dish cost £20) but the quality was great.

Service was a little cool but efficient and I was given a nice table.
