I go there 2-3 times per week for lunch. Easily one of the best places for vegans in the Vienna in my opinion. The lunch menu changes daily and only rarely repeats itself. Great value for money too!

I discovered this gem today. They have a wide range of vegan dishes for a very affordable privce (ex. 5€ for a main dish). The food was delicious and the staff was very helpful. I would definitely visit this place again.

I had been before but was extremely hesitant to go back due to their pay system that put some anxiety in me but during a late night lockdown walk I saw they also offer waffles and various christmasy drinks so I gave in and eventually went again.

While there I saw they have their usual variety of food to take away as well so to anyone unsure whether it would be worth it even during a lockdown, yes, options as varied as ever.

You can order a mix of salad and warm dishes from the buffet. Everything looks so delicious and fresh. Coffee is great too. They gifted everyone with a pastry that day.

I got vegan goulash and a muffin with jackfruit which were amazing, I also tasted a vegan version of sachertorte which was good but kinda cold and a bit dry. Finally I had the wiener melange which I was so glad I found vegan!

When you're looking for vegan food you either settle for fast food or falafel, but here you can choose among various warm and cold dishes which are actual (more or less healthy😄) meals. And these nice meals come for a fair price.

The seating is maybe not so comfortable because it's a small place and it gets very busy during lunch, but it's ok if you just want to sit down and eat.

We were surprised so much!!! This place has a very simple “bistro” concept, but has a great realisation of it! Food is “home-made”, healthy in comparison to junk food vegan places. Staff - friendly. We’ve been there for several times. HIGHLY recommend.

There is indoor and outdoor seating, the food is great and the staff is friendly. Very central. Enjoyed a lasagna, and a jackfruit tart, both were very tasty and relatively healthy.

At Venuss you have a variety of warm and cold foods to choose from. It‘s all cooked and ready to serve, kept warm behind the bar. It‘s basically higher quality fast food, the dishes are more original but aren‘t super fresh. Portions sizes can vary a lot.

Good lunchtime canteen - Edit
A lunchtime salad (and warm dishes) buffet located very near the Hofburg: the clients seem rather to be working people than tourists but that'll do as well! The different salads we tried were quite good and tasteful. The drinks are incomprehensibly pricey (water, coffee) and the system of getting a card which will let you order, then go to the buffet, then pay, then... is a bit complicated and lacks interaction to my view.
