We ordered 1 hummus and 1 soup (both barely edible) and two lasagnes (ok but nothing special, and served not hot enough).
Read moreThe waitress that took our order barely spoke english. We were told that our baby was crying too loudly (like we he has a turning off button), when we’re already clearly grabbing our stuff to leave in order not to disturb the other people.

Never been treated so poorly in my life at a restaurant, anywhere in the world (and I am from Paris). The youngish (maybe 35) man working here who has a black eye bruise like he's been in a bar fight the night before (like someone punched him in the face, which wouldn't surprise me) was absolutely insufferable and nasty.
Read moreHe went around taking everyone's order but ours, ignored us while helping all other customers, and even yelled at us when we asked for something on their autumn speciality menu because it was not available in the evening and at one point grabbed the menu out of my hand, aggressively.
We observed him and he was very polite to the Austrians at the tables around us but incredibly rude and agressive to us. Really astonishing and unusually for vegan restaurants.
The rest of the staff were lovely, especially the woman in charge, but something was very wrong with this man, thought maybe he was having a bad day but given he gave us specially mean treatment despite us being polite, it was perhaps xenophobia.
And the food wasn't even good, just bland.

Vegan take on Austrian cuisine - Edit
Organic, seasonal and mostly regional dishes. Unfortunately Austrian cuisine is fairly bland and relies heavily on replacements for dairy and meat. Therefore the dishes either lack protein sources or rely on ersatzs, with a minority of dishes actually using lentils. Even adding more fresh herbs would make it a bit less bland, but what I tried there on two occasions reminded me of baby food. Not expensive, but portions are quite small. A large choice of desserts: cakes, sorbet, several types of mousse and pudding.

The lemon cheesecake was the best vegan cheesecake I've tasted so far. Highly recommend!!

I don't think one could make a wrong decision at this lovely buffet restaurant, but it is hard to choose! The lentil salads and potatoes we tried were all delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and it's in a nice central location. May very well be stopping by again.

I can’t believe I haven’t discovered this gem earlier (always walked by and newer thought it was worth the visit). I had the lasagne with a small salad (three types). For not even 10 Euros I was more than full. The food tastes just like I would prepare it myself. Over all the food is healthy, very tasty and the pricing is very ok for the location and given that it’s mostly organic.

Volledige vegan bistro waar je wat kan eten of mee kan nemen. Genoeg keus uit voorgerechten (€4,90: 1 of 2 gerechtjes kiezen) en hoofdgerechten (€7,90). Enorm smaakvol! Bij binnenkomst krijg je een kaart die je steeds scant bij bestellen en na het eten betaal je. Niet de meest gezellige inrichting maar het eten maakt het helemaal goed.

Really nice place if you want to pick your food, whether cold or warm. There are lots of options from starters to desserts. It is a bit expensive though and the portions are large so be careful when choosing (for ex: cold and warm together)

You get a special card for payment, which makes it easier to order multiple things after each other. However, a few things we wanted to try weren't available anymore (at 12.30). Besides that, we liked the flavors that weren't overly sweet.

This was our last dinner in Vienna. All my dishes were really good. A special that had a wrap with a dough and lentils, mushrooms and a sauce to put on top. The veg lasagna was one of the best I’ve had. Not stuffed with fake meat.
Read moreMy starters were pumpkin with seeds and mild sauce and same bowl lentil salad. And to top off the dinner chocolate raspberry cheesecake.
Nice people and interesting concept of get a card, go to buffet, get food from servers, scan card to add to bill, come back for dessert, scan card, eat then go pay.
