Nice but not perfect - Edit
I really loved the location and the friendly staff. The dining room was cozy but the portion size is extremely small. It’s too expensive for this size and the taste was good but not really special.

Not enough food - Edit
After a long day of sightseeing I was looking forward to a hearty meal, we went for their ‘no no burger’ which is exactly that. A lettuce bun. Definitely not enough food for a hungry tourist and very expensive for what we ordered.

Good lunch, Average Dinner - Edit
We ate here for lunch and liked it so much we came back for dinner.
Read moreLunch was very reasonably priced and just enough food to feel full (I almost ordered dessert but didn't because I was too full). We ordered the Deli Plate and the Salad Plate, both of which were delicious and less than 1000 yen.
For dinner we ordered the Dutch Oven Vegetable and the Tempeh. It probably would not have been enough food except the server misunderstood what I said and where I pointed on the menu, and brought us cheesy potatoes instead. They felt bad and gave it to us free of charge, and my mom who is not vegan ate them and said they were good. Unfortunately the vegetables were a bit bland and not very filling, and the tempeh was good but only two small pieces so not very filling either. Both were 1200 yen.
One thing to note is that the menu on their website is slightly different from the actual menu in the restaurant.
Pros: Lunch very good and well priced
Cons: Dinner less good and more expensive, Miscommunications easy, so given non-vegan food

Great! - Edit
The staff was really friendly, they have a English menu, the burger was good and the chocolate cake - oh boy, a whole new level! best one I‘ve ever tried!

Fresh delicious food, convenient location and beautiful decor - Edit
As others have mentioned, the portions are small and the food is quite expensive for the sizes. However, what we ate was delicious and they were easily able to cater to me being both vegan and gluten free.I had the tempeh dish, the grilled vegetables, and the pickled vegetables, and then for desert the gluten free chocolate gateau. I wasn't a big fan of the pickled vegetables, but the rest was amazing. The location is convenient, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the decor is minimalist and fresh.

Worth a trip! - Edit
We got one of the veggie burgers and they were good! The side of fried potato wedges was amazing but small. The pickled onion slices we got weren’t our thing but not bad. They ran out of vegan pudding, so if you want that, be sure to come sooner in the day/night.

Very good, but small portions - Edit
The restaurant is easy to find and has looots of vegan or vegetarian options. The portions are pretty small however, I could‘ve eaten double of my pasta. And for that it was slightly more expensive than other restaurants we have been to in Japan, but it is still very very good.

Nice, but fancy - Edit
Don't expect huge portions here, but do expect beautifully presented fresh produce and friendly service. Probably a little too high end style for my liking. The food was wonderful but just didn't quite hit the spot.
Read moreWe had the fried tempeh and the vegan vegetables cooked for ways. The tempeh sauce was amazing but this dish was only served with some salad and radish on the side so was a rather small meal. The vegetable plate was a great display of the fresh produce used and the sauce was a delicious miso based flavour and was a little more substantial but again was lacking something.
I think a nice place for a fancier night out of shared plates among friends, but maybe not the best option if you've been out Hiking around and seeing the sights in the region.
All in all a little expensive considering the amount of food, but I do appreciate the "from farm to table" aspect so almost worth it. We paid around 3800 yen for the two plates and two drinks.

Fine dining crossed with (mostly) vegan ethics. - Edit
Read moreThe produce and base ingredients on offer are organic, some of which we discovered are from the restaurant's own farm.
The flavour combinations are second to none. The sourdough bread slices with smoked olive oil, smeared with tofu cheese were as good as anything we've experienced (even after living in the Mediterranean basin for twenty years).
The root veggies cooked 4 different ways was served with a type of Asian style romescu sauce, absolutely amazing!
The fried tempeh totally fulfilled our expectations and also featured an astonishingly tasty sauce (spicy even).
Admittedly the portions are minute, yet the flavours are never bland nor are they lacking.
10/10 for the service.

Pure food, from farm to table - Edit
Lots of vegon options here, probably the most we have ever seen in any non veg restaurant. Options are clearly labeled on the menu. Burgers, vegetable dishes with optional cooking styles and the most amazing bread. We went here twice, out of two nights being in Hiroshima. Extra star to the chef on the first night for the amazing miso dressing.

I wish I could give this 5 stars! The menu was in English and Japanese and we were able to pick our veggies for the “seasonal vegetables four ways”. Excellent meal with food for all palettes and really tasty wine.

Delicious fine cuisine! - Edit
This restaurant is perfect for a fancy date night or a day when you want something a bit special. The menu is in Japanese but the titles of the dishes are translated, and vegan options are clearly marked. There are more vegan dishes than non-vegan!
Read moreWe ordered the seasonal veggie beignets (not vegan on the menu, but the waitress asked if one of us was vegan and changed the mayonaise for vegan tartare sauce, making the dish vegan), mushroom ajillo, vegetable burgers (the bread is especially delicious, but it's a bit misleading, there's no actual steak in it, even a vegan one), the smoked tempeh, and the pancake and carrot cake for dessert.
Everything was delicious and beautifully presented! It took a bit of time but we were taking it easy and had also ordered a whole bottle of red so it wasn't a problem. We were totally full at the end.
Because the restaurant is more oriented towards gastonomy, the dishes are very small and if you want to eat a lot for cheap this is not the place for you. If you just want to have one thing then maybe go for the pancake, it's quite big and filling (but will take around 20 minutes to come). It is on the pricey side but worth it.
Pros: Lots of delicious options, Staff is adorable and tries their best in english, Quite unique restaurant as a whole
Cons: Expensive for small portions

This is quality food in a modern setting. Smallish portions but every mouthful was tasty. The vegan options are plentiful and clearly labelled...all 3 desserts were vegan too which is always a bonus!

Portions to Pricing Were Not Great - Edit
Walking in this place is definitely a high-end cafe that has a desire to give that aesthetic look. Everything looked nice, even the food but it didn't have the best flavours. It was nothing that matched the price you pay for, especially the portion sizing. Vegan options were clearly labelled which was nice. Staff spoke limited English.

Best Vegan food in Japan! - Edit
This was such a gem! We came here twice (lunch and dinner) and even though their lunch menu isnt as big it is still worth a visit if you arent around for dinner. But the dinner we had was beyond amazing! The food is such high quality and reasonable priced as well! Between two people we shared 5 dishes and 1 dessert, and we were so full! The place is beautiful and nicely decorated. If you are in the area highly recommend this place!

Nice selection of vegan options - Edit
Stylish restaurant with a surprising amount of vegan options on the menu. Text is in English and Japanese, and there are some pictures. We had the "beignet" which was basically tempura vegetables, a dish of mushrooms, potatoes, and garlic served in a sizzling broth and with bread (!! if you've traveled around Japan at all you probably know how rare it is to find vegan bread !!), and the No-No Burger. There was a bread and vegan cheese dip on the menu but it was sold out. I was expecting some sort of patty in the burger but it seemed to be mostly greens. We also had the chocolate cake and the carrot spice cake (the chocolate was better).
