Inventive sauces and excellent falafel - Edit
Few falafel places have peanut sauce, so it's a major plus when they do, and the falafel itself is also well-seasoned. In addition, Vegi is inventive with their sauce options more generally (aubergine-veg sauce, hummus of the day etc.), which is lovely. Very friendly service as well.

This place is very well known among people from Tübingen and if you're in the city you should definitely check it out. Their falafel is insanely good! Although we had some struggles eating the döner-like food, it was fun because it was that messy (so maybe not a good idea for a first date). The fries were delicious too! Totally recommend this place :)

Those are the best falafel in town with a variety of different sauces/dips and a nice atmosphere to sit and eat. They also offer vegan cake/desserts.

Es ist super gemütlich und man hat eine riesige Auswahl an heißen und kalten Getränken und auch einiges zu Essen. Letztes Mal bestellten wir heiße Schokolade mit Hafermilch, einen Schoko-Mandel-Kuchen und einen Apfel-Walnuss-Kuchen. Die heiße Schokolade schmeckte super, der Schokokuchen war leider sehr trocken und krümelig :(. Danach bestellten wir noch eine Frühlings- und eine Herbstschorle die auch sehr gut, aber sehr süß waren.
Die Pommes sind ebenfalls etwas speziell :D, aber die Falafel schmecken wunderbar.
Der Service war freundlich und schnell.

The Vegi is my favorite cafe in Tübingen. It's super cozy and there's a great offer of hot and cold drinks on the menu. Last time we ordered hot chocolate with oat milk, a chocolate almond cake and an apple walnut cake. The hot chocolate was great, the chocolate cake was unfortunately very dry and crumbly :(. Later, we ordered a Frühlings- and a Herbstschorle which were also very good, but very sweet.
The fries are a bit special😄but the falafel are amazing.
The service was friendly and quick.

Hatte super leckeren Falafel Wrap und die besten Pommes seid langem! Handgeschnitzt knusprig und nicht zu fettig so wie sie sein sollen! Leider war ich zu satt um noch die toll klingenden Kuchen zu probieren. Komme aber gerne wieder!

Superb Falafel - Edit
The "Falafelfachgeschäft" Vegie really has superb Falafel. They can be combined with different dips. Everything is freshly made and the proce is okay. The small restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. Last but not least the staff was friendly.

Read moreWith the fries… it surely depends. They look like sweet potato fries (but are normal ones) because - staff told me - they fry it longer to make them crispier. Not such a big fan of that, it feels like they get crispy, but hollow inside and kind of “over”-fried.
But maybe that’s just taste-preference.
The mixed salad was solid. Instead of feta-cheese, I got (one) falafel to make it vegan.

Das Vegi in Tübingen ist in der Altstadt gelegen und hat einen rustikalen Charme. Zum Essen gibt es dort überwiegend Falafel. Der Falafel schmeckt sehr gut, das Brot dazu ist aber sehr zäh und hart. Die Soßen sind selbstgemacht, aber es fehlt die Raffinesse. Die Pommes sind ebenfalls zu empfehlen, da selbst gemacht. Die Mitarbeiter*innen waren sehr nett und trotzdem eignet sich das Vegi eher, wenn man schnell einen Falafel auf die Hand möchte.

Vegi salad and falafel plate are trule recommendable. The staff was so very nice. The location was very cozy. Definitely worth a visit.
