The vegan joint that meat eaters love to go

Veggie Meals On wheels (VMOW) is the must go tropical oasis in the busy streets of Cross Roads, Kingston Jamaica. with its vegetable and fruit trees that provides he perfect shade and cool ambience, dining at VMOW is more than eating vegan, it is a wholistic experience. With roots music playing in the background, friendly staff and customers everyday at this vegan joint is a trip to remember. Nothing beats eating at a place where mind, body and spirit are nourished. Veggie Meals on Wheels is truly the NOBONEZONE. Love it and live it.

The menu ranges from fresh fruits and vegetable juices and shakes to vegan burgers and wraps to bean stews, veggie nuggets, ackee, steam greens, quinoa, cous cous, ground provisions, veggie fritters, and yatties (vegetarian patties). The choices are so varied that your taste buds are sure to get whet over and over again.

There is also the fact that even though it is a vegetarian restaurant, a number of meat eaters frequently visit the spot to balance their weekly intake. Veggie meals rest on the premise that "everyone has a right to eat healthy". Hence, in their quest to promote this, diverse people are attracted to its lovely setting and tasty treats.

If you haven't been there yet, make it one of your "to do's". Or, look out for the Veggie Meals team at entertainment events in and around Jamaica. And remember, situated on Vendors Plaza, downtown, Negril, is the second branch of Veggie Meals on Wheels, Jamaica. A veggie meal a day keep the doctor away.

Pros: use only local grown produce , promote reuse over recycle , have children and students discounts

Cons: at lunch time the parking can be very tight , during the rain season call before and order , close on sundays
