Must Visit Ital Vibes in Kingston

My title says it all. This is an authentic Ital restaurant where locals eat what was previously named Kushite vegetarian cuisine. I ordered the chef's menu, and both dishes were delicious. They offer takeout and delivery. Please be sure to CALL them ahead if you have any questions as I had trouble finding the correct location. Google maps is CORRECT if you search for 7 Basiks.

ESCOVITCH MUSHROOMS. (my fav 🤩🙃🥰)
Portobello mushrooms, marinated in a homemade blend of herbs and spices, made crispy and topped with a spicy, zesty escovitch sauce, served with Calypso quinoa.


SWEET & SOUR VEGGIE BALL.
Lentil seasoned to perfection and rolled into bite size balls topped with pineapple sweet and sour sauce served with vegetables stir fried quinod or basmati rice.
