A vegetarian burger cafe, located in Rome’s Centrale Mercato, is adjacent to Termini train station, and is just like the Florence Veg & Veg in their Centrale Mercato. Two burgers are fully vegan, while the others are vegetarian and can be made vegan. Has good potato slices, a variety of salads, and juices. The indoor seating is shared with other area restaurants. Open Mon-Sun 07:00-00:00.

Nice place at the train station

Nice market stand in the Mercato at the train station Roma Termini. The place itself is nice. You order the food and take place wherever you want. They serve different poke bowls and a vegan burger.

Average poke bowl

Can't talk about their other food, but the poke bowl was only okay. Its ingredients tasted decent, and it was nice to have a number of things to choose from. However, after adding the 6 ingredients you're allowed to choose, the "big" bowl for 11€ was only about half-filled. Also, the only sauce they seemed to have was soy sauce.

Pros: Quick, healthy food right next to Roma Termini

Cons: "Big" bowl is not that big

Great food near Roma Termini

We went here before departing by train from Roma Termini to get a quick bite. Having already eaten at the store in Florence, this one fulfilled my expectations. The burgers are yummy (I really liked the buns) and the rosemary potato wedges are great (maybe a bit too oily though). You can also get pre-packed salad bowls, fruits, and juice for on the go.

Super veggie plates and healthy burgers

They’ve a combined plate with lots of veggies for lunch, pre-made salads, and the burgers which are oven baked and super healthy, two of them are vegan and the others can be made vegan on request

Pros: Oven baked, Mixed plate with many veggies

Vegan options near the Termini station

It's a very little restaurant, but with vegan options. There are several vegan burgers.
But it's not really succulent... we have been disappointed. Fries weren't fresh, and burgers weren't tasty.
It's not disgusting but it's not really an excellent food.

Pros: Near Termini station, Vegan options

Cons: Not really tasty, Little restaurant

Pros: Vegane, vegetariens

Cons: Goût

Really good food

We had these burgers when we were so tired and so hungry and it hit the spot. Really filling. Unfortunately they were out of chips but we just picked some up from another vender and they didn’t mind

Cons: Near an area that displays a lot of meat

Lovely stand in buzzy food market on train station .

Really helpful staff, a good selection of burgers, salad and hot food. Items not labelled vegan but Staff identified which items are vegan for us.

Pros: Several vegan options, Range of food, Nice environment to sit in

Cons: Minimal seating when busy

Very very dry patty

I had the Casablanca burger. The patty is very very dry, and doesn’t resemble a burger in any way. I didn’t try the salads, but they looked fresh and better.

Pros: It’s vegan, Good location

Cons: Only one vegan burger, Staff isn’t friendly

Never again

Awful. I struggled to finish the burger as it tasted like cardboard and fries that we got were cold. It's totally not worth it for the price. The staff was rude.

Pros: Biodegradable bags, cutlery

Cons: Too expensive, Rude staff, Untasteful

Convenient Location and great potato slices

since it's right next to the Termini, it's very convenient. The burgers are between €8,50 and €9. I had the Yucatan and it was ok… the patty was kinda dry, but at least the potato slices were great! I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to get it, like I did…

Pros: Potato slices

Cons: Expensive for what it is

Only got the potatoes but they were good

This place was busy at lunch as you can imagine. All the food looked very fresh, but since we got a bunch of pizza nearby we only got their potatoes, which were VERY tasty.

The whole food hall is worth checking out, I would suggest to get a little something from all over as we did.

Convenient and lovely

Found this place following the app, walked all round the food hall section and then came across it.
The lady that served us was very helpful in translating for us.
The food was delicious, i had the burger/potato slices combo for the offer and my partner had the avacado on toast (we shared the potatos). We were not disappointed, both delicious and filling. Price wise, is what we expect compared to UK prices. We will probably return for lunch again during our travels and try out other dishes.

Pros: Healthy, many options, resonable price

Good, interesting food

This is a stall in the Mercato Centrale in Termini station, so a great option if you’re with a large group with different food preferences/restrictions. They have veggie burgers and salads - it is all vegetarian or vegan, but not clearly labeled which is which. I got the Casablanca burger- the veggie burger itself wasn’t outstanding, but the chickpea-and-pistachio hummus, vegan lime mayo, fennel, and caramelized red onions really made it a great sandwich. If you get the potato wedges with it as a combo it’s less than ordering each separately.

Pros: All vegan or vegetarian, Interesting condiment combos

Cons: Vegan not clearly labeled

Cold disgusting veggie burger

The one or two vegan salads they offered had a bunch of fresh veggies, but the vegan burger with hummus was disgusting. The veggie patty was cold. This was temporarily masked by how bread-y the buns are, but I couldn’t finish it as it was just gross. A waste of 10€. Stick to the salad if you go here.

Interesting burgers, but not very flavorful

Transferring my review from the Marcato Centrale Roma listing to here:

I went to the vegetarian burger stand twice, tried two different burgers and the potatoes. Both burgers were good tasting and quite large but for me the bread-to-ingredient ratio could have been better, I mostly tasted the bread. The potatoes also lacked a bit of flavour and were a bit too greasy.

As for the location itself, it’s practical to reach but very loud and the bar-style seating is rather uncomfortable.

Really do not recommend at all

I had the Casablanca burger which was made vegan, and it was literally the most disgusting burger I have ate in my life. In the past 4 years I have been a vegan, I have only not eaten(disliked) two things and that was a steak meat replacement, and this burger....
I couldn’t even eat it, and that is so unlike me..😂
I love my food so much!
But the burger itself crumbled to the touch, it felt like I was eating a flaky pastry! The bun was super dry too, and the flavours together did not compliment each other at all.
I had to down a bottle of water after a few bites as it made me so thirsty😒

I also had the potato wedges that come with it, but they were so smothered in oil and soft and greasy, and with an overpowering herb flavour, that having a few became super super sickly.(they are also super salty too)

Pros: The “make your own salad” looked alright, Great location

Cons: Waste of money(sadly) , Super dry, salty and terrible flavour combinations, Wedges were overpowering herb flavour

Ok if you need it

It’s a busy place, being in termini. Nowhere to sit to eat it. I really enjoy food that is brown and hot usually. This was a little weird that everything in my burger was the exact same color and value of brown. I had the Casablanca burger, not labeled as vegan but was told that was one of the 2 vegan options by the staff. I couldn’t really tell the difference from my burger to the bun other than one was mushier than it was crusty. It’s a pretty chaotic environment but it is nice that there is a food option at the train station.

Not fantastic

First on the location-it’s in a hectic train station, you are not likely going to be able to sit and enjoy your meal. Probably best to plan for takeaway. I was told only two burgers were vegan, ordered the one with hummus. I was really surprised at how boring it was. Lots of bun, SO much mayo, a sad bit of caramelized onions and a bit of lettuce, saw no evidence of hummus. They had what appeared to be a well stocked salad bar, why not throw a couple tomato slices on? The potatoes were decent and convenient for takeout since they’re roasted and not fried. Not awful, but it gets a 🤷🏻‍♀️ from me.

Almost fine

Two out of five burger were vegan. We tried both. The one with eggplants was nice, warm and juicy... So I would take it again. But the other one with hummus wasn't enjoyable. There was almost no seasoning and it tasted like one mush, that was a little bit to dry. The roastet potatoes were nice and really cheap in a set, but they were way to salty. For me it was almost impossible to eat them all.

Pros: faire price, filling

Cons: bad seasoning

Very gourmet and filling

Loads of vegetarian options here and although most of them appeared to be vegan too it wasn’t very clear. The burger meal deal is great value for money, everything is made up fresh for you and the chef working there clearly cares about food preparation, presentation and quality.

Pros: Good value for money, Loads of options , Fresh ingredients

Cons: Vegan items could be more clearly labelled
