The lady who took my order forgot that she was the one who took my order. after waiting for an hour she inquired about my order and asked who tooked my order. The food was not that great. We had bbq chicken made with soy curls. I have made them myself which is why I was not impressed.

Hakim is mad cool and the food is just amazing. Lots of great health products to purchase. So many delicious food items to choose from with great smoothies and juices as well. Love this place. Big up Hakim’s!

I've been coming here for about 8 or 9 years. I don't love the atmosphere of this place but the food keeps me coming back. They're always expanding their menu and have grown a lot over the years. Even though the menu now consists of a huge variety of foods my favorite still remains the Jamaican patties. They're not exactly healthy but so yummy. I've noticed that they tend to run out of patties after the lunch hour rush so try to get there early.

clean and relaxing environment with great products to buy. first time we ordered the bbq short ribs and a large bbq chicken pizza and they did not disappoint! its been a difficult hunt for great vegan pizza but the search is over!! the short ribs had a great meaty texture with amazing flavor! then we came back a week later for that delicious large pizza, but they gave us a smaller pizza and still charged us for a large, hopefully next time we dont get ripped off.

Hakin's store is the bomb - Edit
I've been eating at this restaurant since 2012. I return because of the vibrant staff, the variety of products sold instore, hakin's people skills, and of course the foods there. For the past year, I've been going towards the gluten-free route, so I don't go as often as I used to since many of the dishes utilize seitan (a vegan but gluten food source). But I'll probably eat there every blue moon, but there are still other choices that will satisfy those growing into the vegan life-style.
Read moreThe BBQ Rib meal is the bomb. Perhaps my favorite meal out of the various meals on their menu. I'm not good at describing foods, but trust me. You'll enjoy this if you haven't tried it yet. The other meals are great too, and filling with the side dishes. You'll want to try something new here everyday. They'll give you a reasonable size portion for the price.

We flew into Ft. Lauderdale and had no idea where to find healthy, vegan food. We saw this place on Happy Cow, trusted the reviews and went. We're so glad we did! Super tasty and great friendly people. The owner, Hakin, chatted with us quite a bit. Great guy. We loved the food and the whole experience.

Visited twice - in Dec 2016 and a few weeks later in Jan 2017. Experience both times was excellent! There are two menus - both of which are massive with many choices. One is a drink menu with lots of juices and smoothies. The other is the food menu. I tried the Vegan Boneless Ribs and the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich. Both were fantastic. The owner, Hakim, came over to say hello and was very warm and personable.

I had the spicy chicken ranch sandwich, it was pretty good, but could've been a little bigger. Seasoned fries were killer, and my wife really liked her meatball sub. Fresh salads were awesome with house made vegan ranch. Good chip selection in the market, too!

I don't get to visit this delightful place often enough. I miss the mock chick wing empanadas - they are really wonderful with a whole wheat crust and slightly spicy, very flavorful. It's a pleasant surprise to find this spot in the strip mall - the interior has bamboo and glass shelving built by the owner and the vibe is very chill and friendly. The smoothies and salads are nice as well. I wish he could open a place close to downtown!

I was pleasantly surprised at how great the food was in this unassuming establishment. The food was very flavorful and may very well be the most tasty vegan food I've had at a South Florida restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
