Really good food, really cheap!

This typical Thai style veg eatery is really good. The food is very tasty and the staff are nice. We really enjoyed the buffet style food with purple rice

Pros: Tasty food, Nice staff, Cheap

Place to go if you want cheap food

The staff is very nice and explains you everything what is on the buffet. I paid 95 Baht for a plate of food. Everything I had was really tasty. Would definitely come again.

Cheap authentic Thai food

Very cheap! But it is pre cooked and sitting in Bain-Marie’s, generally the food was pretty cold. English wasn’t strong so we just tried to avoid any dishes that look like they might have diary in them. Most of the 11 dishes we had there were good!

Excellent for vegetarians

Lots of Thai restaurants I’ve looked at so far haven’t had that many vegetarian options so happy to find somewhere I could eat everything on the menu!

I ate here everyday until I had to cut out chilli, salt and oil from my diet

The food here is very good, but like all Thai Buddhist Jay restaurants they use chilli, salt and oil. I didn't find the food too spicy, salty or oily generally, the chillies were usually whole and easily removable from your plate. I absolutely loved it and ate here at least once a day with my girlfriend until I had to go on a detox diet for health reasons. I miss some of the dishes, the ginger dish was one of my favourites, a sweet potatoe dish, aubergine dish that was quite oily but delicious, massaman curry and any noodle dishes they had were usually my go tos. They also do fresh noodle soup and they give you a salad of leaves and cucumber with your food. Very cheap!

Pros: Excellent food, Good portion, Cheap

Cons: Chilli, salt and oil

Great food for a great price

We eventually found this place and were not disappointed. It is a large, open restaurant with a wide range of wonderful fresh food on offer. They offer both bottled and non-bottled drinking water. Be aware- there are no English signs, you will need to navigate using google maps.

Pros: Cheap and good quality food, Friendly staff

Cons: Road noise (being really picky!)

Great value

Came for lunch here at 14:00 on a Saturday and there was still plenty of food left. Had about 10 veg dishes plus 2 or 3 curry's on the hob. Was 70 baht for rice and 3 dishes which is great as the portions were huge. Would recommend visiting!

According to the lady that worked there, they don't use eggs or milk so is full vegan.

Pros: Great value , Lots of choice

Cons: None

Big portions

We stumbled upon this gem by coincidence and wish we had discovered it earlier. The ladies working here are very nice, they have a gorgeous cat who likes to come say hello and the food is superb. The flavours are so good, we like it more than other J places we have eaten at. The portions are big but it depends on the person who is serving you. We reccommend the massaman curry, the aubergine dish and the tofu-mixed veggies-coriander dish. Great quality!

Pros: Very tasty food, Reasonable prices, Friendly cute cat

Cons: Sometimes the portion is small

Generous portions, reasonable price

Decent selection of dishes that you can add to rice. I got there around 2 p.m. and some of the dishes had gone cold. However, the portions were extremely generous and the price was decent. Also, the ladies that work there are friendly.

Pros: The only vegan place near Chalong Circle, Generous portions, Quick service

Cons: Not the freshest food

good enough

The food is tasty and the people are friendly enough. A lot of Thai people go there for lunch. The price is quite higher than a typical Thai place but the portion is a bit bigger. They give veggies with the food on the side which is a nice gesture. They are very familiar with foreigners as its Chalong.

Really great place

Good quality vegan food and [censored] cheap as well. Definitely not a fancy joint but a comfortable place that serves buffet style dishes with rice. For 2 dish choices and rice it will set you back 50 baht. Everyday varies slightly menu wise but there are about 10-12 options available with snacks and noodle soup orders possible. Eat in and take away available.

Pros: cheap, fast, delicious
