Great desserts - Edit
We finished a vegan tapas tour here and only had dessert. The Catalan version of creme brulee and the strawberry red velvet cake were both delicious. We would go back to try the savoury options if we had time!

first meal in Spain!! - Edit
Such a delightful meal after the 10 hour flight to Barcelona…
Read moreI got the paella huero which was plant based chicken along with traditional paella risotto and mixed veggies. It was so damn good that I ended up going to another Vegetalia across town. (will review that one too) My friend got the lasagna which was also killer. I got an empanada for desert and ate it on my walk back to the hotel, it was hands down the best empanada I have ever had!
Pros: paella, authenticity , options

Not recomended - Edit
I world not recommend this place to be honest. Beside that the food is not the best, the service is even worse. For the price is not worth it

Paella yes, a bit bland, also yes - Edit
Mainly came to try the paella but was just OK. Felt like it missed spicies. The portion was very small as well, especially for 16 euros. The patatas bravas were OK.

Cheap lunch spot! - Edit
Great vegetarian restaurant right near the Santa Maria Del Mar. There is also another one in the Gothic Quarter. A good portion of their menu is vegan or can be made vegan. Very reasonable lunch prices. We got a starter, main and dessert for just €12 each! The creamy pumpkin soup starter was incredible. The chilli sin carne and soy burger mains weren't mind-blowing but can't complain for the price. Finally, a carrot cake to round off the meal, which wasn't overly sweet or stodgy. I'd definitely visit again as I'd like to try the vegan paella. 🥘

vegan paella :) - Edit
*3,5 stars* Honestly, I only came for the vegan paella, as I like to try vegan versions of the country's cuisine. So I can say the paella heurto was very tasty. Apart from that, I found the menu a bit boring and too fusion - lots of burgers, pizzas, pad thai and curries. I don't know, but that's a bit too random for me

Finally vegan paella found!🥘 - Edit
After long time hoping to try paella somewhere, we finally found this resto! Loving the inside and the staff’s super nice. We would recommend you to choose the paella with Heura.

Bit bland and disappointing - Edit
Was in the area and thought I would try. Ordered the super food salad which claims to be quinoa based with kale, sweet potatoes, mixed nuts seeds, broccoli and avocado. I received quite literally a bowl of quinoa with 4 cubes of avocado, 2 of sweet potato and as many of the other ingredients. Disappointed to be honest as it looked good but the second you dig in there was nothing else there!

Delicious Vegan Ravioli - Edit
I like the restaurant, and how many nice options they have. I just tried the Vegan Raviole, and it was delicious, it came a bit cold(not sure if it should be served like that), but still it was yummy.

Delicious vegan paella - Edit
The olives as a starter were perfect, and the vegan paella (I had the vegetable one, my husband had the paella with vegan chicken) were both simply delicious! Vegetables were well-cooked, and the rice was pefectly seasoned. The vegan chicken also added a nice touch. The crema catalana for desert was incredible, with a zesty flavour. Great options on the menu, friendly staff, we loved it!

Decent - Edit
I’ve been here twice - once in 2017 and again in 2023. The experience was similar both times. First of all, the location is amazing - a great stop before/after the Picasso or Moco museums for sure. The service is very friendly as well. But to me, the food was just so-so. Perhaps because I was looking forward to eating some authentic veganized Spanish dishes…We ordered the patatas bravas (a standout favorite), veggie paella, pan con tomate, and a kale salad. With the exception of the patatas, I’ve had much better versions of all of these dishes at other veg restaurants. That said, the menu is extensive and there are plenty of other options to choose from from many different cuisines. Bottom line, it’s a really great option for lunch if you’re already in the area, but I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to come here.

Comida caseta y local agradable - Edit
