I've had lunch 3 or four times in here, always ordering their daily menu, and everything is simply perfect. The food is delicious. In addition to this, the waiters are very polite and friendly. Such a fantastic restaurant!

Nice - Edit
We had an enjoyable lunch here. We had the vegeburger (not vegan), and the vegetable and tofu yellow curry. There were limited vegan options.

good but small portions and quite expensive - Edit
The food was really good but the portion of the main course (we had paella) was way too small for the price! We had a variation of starters which was awesome and the crema Catalan which was good too!

Good vegan food - Edit
Visited a few times. Tried the tomato toast, hummus with bread, vegetable rolls (they're like mini loumpia's) all tasted really good but pretty high in fat. They also have some kind of vegan apple cake I really wanna try.

Our go-to vegan happy place in BCN - Edit
This place rocks - extensive vegan menu options, great food and cheerful. If you need to grab a chilled out veggie or vegan lunch in Barca, Vegetalia is the place. Heading there for dinner tonight - salivating already!
Pros: Veggies!!!, Range of options

So good!!! - Edit
The staff were so lovely, and the food was amazing. The hummus is an absolute MUST, and so is the 'monster' juice - soooo fresh and revitalising. Wouldn't recommend for people travelling on a tight budget - but I guess that just depends on what you order :)

Recommendable place in El Born - Edit
First, I have to say, that we went there twice, once in the evening and once at lunch-time.
The first time, we had the Pica pica 'VEGETALIA' selection of starters, which is a huge plate of quite everything they have as a starter - only our beloved pan tomate was missing ;(
It was quite okay, nothing special and a good portion.
As main course we had the vegetarian paella (with a lot of vegetables) - quite ok - and a I had a vegan burger with saitan and tempeh without bread or rice, just with salad, which was very delicious, sappy and the best patty I ever had! Also my Nicotiser-smoothie was delicious with carrots, apple, and ginger.
The service was VERY fast and friendly but as I mentioned before, the starter plate and my boyfriend's paella were quite uninspiring and "ok".
So, the next day, we were strolling around in the city center and thought of giving Vegetalia an other chance because my burger and my smoothie were soooo delicious. This time, my boyfriend had the bocadillo of the day with brie, tomato, pesto and salad which he liked very much, and I had some pan tomate which was delicious as well as my smoothie Tropicalia with pineapple and coconut. And as dessert we had vegan apple strudel which was quite perfect.
So, to sum up, better go there and check it out yourself! :)
Pros: Good location, Friendly and fast service, Tasty smoothies

limit vegan options but veggie burger was still enjoyable. fajitas were tasteless. could have been better overall! good if you need a meal in the city

muy bueno pero algo restrictivo - Edit
un ambiente muy bonito y creativo, la atención muy buena, precios razonables y la comida es excelente, la única razón por la cual no le pongo 5 estrellas fue la pequeña porción de arroz que viene con las comidas
Pros: muchas opciones veganas
Cons: porciones un poco pequeñas

Born in the BCN - Edit
Not that I'm a huge Spingsteen fan in case anyone was wondering. I suppose when it comes to Vegetalia it's pretty much already been documented. Of the 3 branches in Barcelona this is certainly the most appealing I think. They're all located on quite scenic squares, this one on a very pleasant, vibrant and historic square overlooking the beautiful Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar in the truly wonderful Born district of the city. Most of the starters are vegan such as hummus, spring rolls and falafel. A significant amount of main courses are also vegan. You can even do set lunch deal for €10.90. There is a fair level of choice here such as pizzas, burgers, seitan tempeh and spinach lasagne, burritos, thai curry, seitan cutlets and pasta dishes. It's a functional and ethical place that will satisfy most levels of taste and hunger. Not somewhere you would splash out or propose marriage in but certainly worth a visit.
Pros: good vegan choice, spacious, friendly
Cons: not the most creative

Very friendly service and good cake - Edit
Very friendly service, cakes were really good, nachos were also very tasty but the guacamole could have been more seasoned.
Pros: price

Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere - Edit
Some people may think food needs some more seasoning but they want to make it has healthier as possible. They bring extra seasoning when they serve the dishes.
Very good location in front of an important place for Catalonia people where they pay respect to those that fighted for Catalonia in 1711, Fossar de les moreres

Pros: loved the bravas sauce and the friendly staff

Nice people, food okay - Edit
It's a nice restaurant where you can sit outside on a quiet place under shade of trees. People are very friendly and helpful. Sadly the food is just okay and needs more spices. Portions are too small. Go there if you just need a snack or a drink and not if you're starving.
