Cute cafe - Edit
OVO VEGETARIAN, but very accommodating for vegans.
They have a small economy rice stall. NOT BUFFET! Economy rice is a plate of rice and some pre cooked dishes to add then you pay for that amount based on that one plate. Buffet is paying one set price and eating as much as you want.
They also have a home cook style ala carte dishes that you can order as well.
Food are decent, taste wise and price wise. Decent amount.
The owner is a health food advocate. Foods are super fresh, low salt, no MSG, low fat etc. Serves brown rice which is uncommon for economy rice stalls.
Environment is okay, quite small but clean. Seats are very limited. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
HOW TO GET THERE
Next to the ORANGE convenience store, facing Plaza Merdeka. Its a very small shop and you won't notice it at first, but keep walking towards ORANGE and you will see the shop sign.
TIP
Go during lunch hours (12:00pm) for freshly cooked economy rice dishes. Closes very early around 5:00pm.
Pros: Quiet environment , Very accommodating for vegans, Friendly owner
Cons: Limited seats , Limited choices, Closes too early

Good value - Edit
It is a tiny place with five or six daily veg dishes including tofu, tempeh, eggs and vegetables. Choice of 3 or 4 of these on steamed rice. The clear veg soup was free with each meal. Very low price, friendly service.

Delicious Food, lovely staff! - Edit
Just walked past this little cafe-style place and went to eat there for lunch- staff were avery kind and friendly and the food was delicious!
I chose a few dishes from the Bain-Marie and then went back for seconds! Delicious bean curd curry, green bean & mushroom dishes and sweet & sour bean curd with flat rice noodles. Payed for what I ate (RM10). Also went back the next morning for breakfast (at 7am) - for tea and 'fish' (battered tempeh wrapped in seaweed). I will be back next time I'm in Malaysia!
Pros: Several dishes to choose and serve from, Options change daily, Opens early
Cons: No clear prices

Favorite place in KK - Edit
I love this little resturant. It has some great options and the owner has a good understanding of English so it was no problem getting vegan food. The menu is small but he makes lots of things off menu so we would just ask for a surprise and always got good food!
Pros: Great food, friendly staff, good english
Cons: closes early

Nice friendly little place - Edit
I finally managed to find this place open after visiting on many occasions (in the evening - I didn't know then they closed at 5 or 6pm) and was happy to find the owner to be very friendly and the food to be excellent.
I had the Braised Mushroom and Bean Curd Skin Rice, and also got the assam fish as an added extra, all for RM11 (two pieces of the fish was RM3; the main dish was RM8). The mushrooms were fat and juicy shiitake mushrooms which I love! The bean curd and fish (with a nice tomato/chilli sauce) was good too.
It's amazing they manage in such a tiny place (the 'kitchen' is in the same one room as the eating space for guests, though there are a few tables outside too - though I actually enjoyed watching them prepare the food as you don't often get to see that!).
I look forward to visiting again.
Pros: Great food, Friendly owner
Cons: Tiny place with limited seating, Limited options
