Read moreI probably should’ve looked at some reviews to better inform my order for my first time at Veg’d. Because I think upwards of $20 is way too much to spend on any fast food, I kept it simple and ordered the basic “chicken” sandwich (my total was $12 and change). By all appearances, it promised to be good but the patty was mushy, greasy, and had an unpleasant, gritty breading. The most pronounced flavor (read: only flavor) was the dill pickles. And really, why is it spelled “Chic Chik” if it’s pronounced “chick chick?” Less time spent on clever names and more time spent on developing flavor and texture would be cool. The service was also a little weird; there were two people ahead of me in line and the wait time was almost twenty minutes. The employees were less than enthusiastic.

Cons: Expensive, Not that tasty, Weird texture

I had the Good Morning Sammie and my husband got the breakfast burrito. We ordered online for pick up. Staff was very friendly, the car smelled so good on the way home we were salivating. They did not disappoint, we devoured both( sorry, no pictures)!!

My belly loves and my wallet hates having a drive-thru vegan spot close to work. The obvious competitor that comes to mind is Nice Guys, and I do think that they are slightly better than VEG'D overall, but this place does have the benefit of a more varied menu. I haven't tried any of their stuff besides the burgers, but they do have some (marginally) healthier bowls and smoothies, if you're not in the mood for greasy fast food. Also, they have cold brew, so that's another plus.

Read moreThe bowls can be made with either greens or grains, so I got half n half. It's a spring mix type, and there's enough sauce so the leaves aren't dry. The mixed grains also have their own light sauce and are quite flavorful with a good texture
The nuggets were honestly a little mushy, but the outside was flaky and crispy, and the flavor was delicious so I still loved them!
And the pasta straws are great! Will be back, can't wait to try other menu stuff

I was traveling and searched happy cow to see what was nearby and this place came up. So glad I stopped in! It’s quick, easy, fresh, abundant. I had a delicious fresh salad with two scoops of wonderful Tempe salad on top. I also had a smoothie, mint chocolate chip made with fresh mint. Really great fresh homemade food, I will definitely stop back here the next time I am in town. Also, they have a beautiful porch and I sat outside in the sun which was great being that I was here visiting in the winter from Connecticut.

Just to be honest I'm not really impressed. First the good : I really like the poke bowl (i love everything with seaweed,ginger and edanames), and I really like the blue magic smoothie.

I want to give it more stars because it’s vegan fast food and I try to do everything I can to support anything vegan but I personally do not think their food is good 😞 I feel like they put a lot of mayonnaise and other not so good condiments on their food and without the sauce, their fake meat is honestly just not good. Just one person’s opinion 😬

Picked this up for breakfast on the way to the beach and it was really tasty. We got our food really fast and the breakfast burritos had great flavor. My Corgi certainly wanted a bite. 😉

While there getting to be a lot of fast and fast casual vegan joints out there, I was actually pretty impressed by the new Matthew Kenney spot Veg’d. In addition to things like burgers and fries, they also have some really good and healthy bowls available. And, if you’re a breakfast fan, they open early and have a lot of options to keep you satisfied.

Went in for breakfast and ordered two breakfast sandwiches. I ordered online so when I arrived it was ready. I ordered the sausage egg and cheese sandwich and the bacon egg and cheese sandwich (added sausage patty). They tasted good but the sausage egg and cheese sandwich came with a sauce that was not specified on the menu and I didn’t like it.

The food at Veg’d is pretty great tasting but nothing I’ve ordered here has been really stable at all, like it doesn’t have any structural integrity! It falls apart! I was eating most of my burger out of the bottom of the tray and my zucchini shed it’s well seasoned batter every time I tried to dip them in the provided ranch dressing. I’ll probably keep going back anyway.

I had a Poke bowl. It was really good but maybe a little small, I could’ve eaten two of those. The taste was a little bland, sauce was a bit watery I don’t normally use all of any sauce but I def sid this time and could’ve done with two of those, too. I hear burger was good but not much inside. Fruit smoothie was flavored water (mainly made of ice) and it was left half finished. I liked that bowl was very healthy though!
