Delicious cake - Edit
I was having a bit of a walk around town and I wanted something sweet. I ended up getting a slice of cake from here. It tasted of cinnamon and had chocolate icing but I’m not 100% sure of the name. The staff member was lovely. I would have liked to have tried lunch or breakfast here too but I ran out of time. It’s good they have a sign on the street where to turn otherwise, you don’t really notice the street. Look for the blackboard.

Good place to have coffee or lunch and just chill out. Conpletely plant-based menu with croque monsieurs, smashed Avocados or pancakes. Laid back atmosphere and friendly people. Really nice spot.

Read moreThe Croque Monsieur is more of a toastie but still very tasty. Pancakes are fab.
The pastries are exceptional - we tried the chocolate pudding pasty, frangipane and berries and lemon raspberry and pistachio cakes. Incredible.
Coffee also really good including some fun flavours / additions like snickers, as well as the classics.

Enjoyed things I ate as a kid a lot: toastie with ‘cheese’ and ‘ham’ and a hot chocolate milk! Loved to eat things ethically but still the same feeling and taste as I remember. They also have lovely cake (we had a pumpkin loaf) and great coffee (beautiful swan latte art)

The love that the owner set in their place, is something you feel and see in all aspects.

If you call a dish croque monsieur I expect it to be with bechamel end vegan cheese not a grilled cheese sandwich. It was quite expensive too for a grilled cheese sandwich. The icing on the cake was not grined properly so you can taste the sigar cristals in it…

Completely vegan coffee bar which also serves several kinds of thee and fresh juices.
Read moreThe menu is limited, but has both sweet and salty items, such as pancakes and croque monsieur (kind of grilled sandwich with 2 slices of bread, vegan ham & cheese, veganaise and ketchup on the side, and some salad).
The pancakes are huge! 😊 And very well done ("heavy", but not dry or tasteless like some). You can order them with banana or apple and add some toppings - caramel sauce and chocolate chips on the picture.
There are several freshly baked pies on the counter.
The staff is friendly and helpful. Their bar is well hidden but in the city centre of Antwerp, close to 'Robuust', the zero waste shop!
