Ya no es vegano, qué lastima - Edit

La comida tiene muy buena sazón, la atención es buena, hay muchas opciones de dónde escoger, lo malo es que ya no es vegano y los precios son bastante altos por unas porciones más bien pequeñas.

Pros: Buen servicio, Muchas opciones, Comida deliciosa

Cons: Precios altos, Ya no es vegano

Refreshing, can-be-flavory and cheap - Edit

For 11,500 COP (less than $4 USD) you get a 4 course fixed-meal.

Although the entree-salad and the soup were a bit disappointing, today's main course (thai rice) was actually quite a good. The dessert was ok.

So, 3 out of the 4 courses could have been better with not much effort.. but hey, its 100% vegan, and the atmosphere is quite calm and somehow refreshing.

I definitely recommend it (but with cautioned expectations).

Pros: Service very kind and fast, Very cheap, Some courses are good

Cons: Some courses are dissaponting

Delicious, filling lunch menu - Edit

I had the lunch set menu, which was soup, a drink, a grilled wrap kind of enchilada with salad and two biscuits for dessert, all for 11,500 pesos (I think). I was so full after and it was delicious. I sat outside, staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend:)

All vegan and heaps of choice - Edit

Vegarden is a cute little place in veg-friendly Laureles (or almost). The menu is pretty expansive - including vegan flan and ravioli, woohoo.

Pros: Mini-market, Lots of choice, 100% vegan

best vegan spot in Medellin - Edit

They have a large choices of dishes, burgers, pizza, nachos, wraps, pastas, empanadas, flan and so on... Everything is well presented.
Price are moderate. About 10$ for a complete meal from the set menu. They also propose a lunch of the day.
The only thing I could reproach is when I went there, all I ordered first wasn't dispnible (lack of ingredients).
The location is a bit out of the beaten track.

Pros: large choices, atmosphere, friendly staff

Cons: ingredients missed, location

Good food and open for dinner - Edit

I went at night for dinner. They had a big menu for dinner time. I ordered a crepe, which cost 11.900 pesos as of June 2014. It was huge, and came with a salad. The flavors were quite good. My only concern is that there wasn't a lot of protein in the meal; only three little triangles of tofu on top of the crepe. If I had known that, I would have ordered one of the veggie burgers made with lentils and garbanzo beans.

I would probably give this place 4 cows overall. The location is out of the way for the average tourist, but if you happen to find yourself in the area, stop by.

They are open until 10:00 pm for dinner. At lunch time, they have the typical set menu for a reasonable price and they post the day's menu on their Facebook page.

Pros: Great flavor, Nice atmosphere, Outdoor tables

Cons: Not a lot of protein in the meal

a favorite in medellin - Edit

by far the best vegan food in the city, and the only 100% vegan eatery as well. i was in town for four nights, and had dinner at vegarden every night. the combo burger is gigantic and full of flavor. they also have a few dessert options with vegan ice cream. good take away items too!

Okay dokey - Edit

Not bad but very limited in choice. They only do a fixed meal per day - soup, pizza, dessert and juice for COP 9,500. It was ok but not great.

I enjoyed more the take away 'ham' sandwich and the choc brownie - they have a takeaway counter too which is a little better.

Pros: Nice sandwich, Good takeaways, Decent price

Cons: Out in the west of the city, No choices

Excellent food - Edit

I went here for lunch and got the menu del dia for $10000 COP. This included a soup, main, desert and juice. The quality was excellent and I enjoyed my meal very much. They also sell things like vegan veggie patties and tomales. I also bought some of these to take away and cook myself. I got a little bit lost going there (which is more of a street numbering thing than anything else). But it is just off the main road (Carrera 80) where all the shops are. Look out for the pedestrian overpass over Carrera 80 and you will find it.

Pros: Vegan, Reasonable prices

Great organic store attached! - Edit

I didn't eat at Vegarden's cafe (which looked delicious! Just ran out of time), but I did shop at there little store! They have lovely little organic products, organic avena milk, oatmeal ice cream (delicious! I got the arequipe-carmel flavored!), tofu, vegan burgers, etc.

Definitely stop in if you're craving some vegan products!!

Great! - Edit

It was not easy to find a vegan place in this city and I actually think this is the only one. I went today and the food is really good, there is a nice, relaxed enviroment and the people are really nice. Very recommended!

unbelievable oasis - Edit

This place is the real deal. I've visited about two dozen veg establishments in the city and this one takes the cake for its food, friendliness, and atmosphere.

Located in the residential area of Villa de Aburra, right between Belen and Laureles, it's easy to reach from the swanky Los Molinos Mall or from 33rd with its bars and discos. The restaurant itself is set back a bit and features a super bacán outdoor seating area perfect for watching life go by in this typical, tourist-free Medallo barrio. Across the street from a park and a safe neighborhood to walk around in.

The food is fantastic; as far as I can tell, this is the only truly vegan restaurant in the city at the moment. Fantastic creative fusion, great sandwiches, mock meat dishes specials, unique juices, and regional surprises. They also have a small shop with high quality natural foods and offer a nice cross-selection of products from the growing local natural community including vegan brownies and chocolates.

It's very convenient if you're staying near Laureles, but otherwise you still owe it to yourself to take a taxi out here (you could also go to Parque Belen and walk from there), and get to know this side of the city. Open late on weekends, and from 9 a.m. in the morning starting February 2012. Very highly recommended!

Pros: superb food, 100% vegan, great people

Cons: a bit out of the way
