Always helpful and up to date

I've been using the site for a few years, and find it very helpful when finding out if something is vegan. I highly recommend to everyone.

Extremely helpful

What I like most about this page is the Accommodation section. In general, even when I go to a non-vegan restaurant, I always manage to get something to eat, but vegan hotels and guesthouses? I have recently booked with a vegetarian guesthouse in Cape Town, with vegan options also available, that I found out thanks to Vegan SA. Other than that, it's a very useful site to get some recipes, to find out about shops and restaurants and general information about veganism. You can also get involved as a volunteer to promote veganism and vegan spots in your area.

Regular Updates and Good Reports

VeganSA has a good directory that is incredibly helpful. They have regular updates and it's a community driven site. Worth having a look if you need to find anything vegan or vegetarian in South Africa. Not always comprehensive, so worth looking at other sources too, but generally offers a broad selection of entries.
