Consistently Amazing!! - Edit
I came here 4 years ago (2019) & knew I had to pay a visit while I was in Prague this fall! I ordered the Svíčková (which I ordered the first time I came here) and it was DELICIOUS! Even better than I remember. The goulash & pumpkin cake were yummy too!

delicious vegan experience - Edit
You have to earn your way to the restaurant 😉… up you go many many stairs - and it is worth it … in a beautiful warm setting with low wooden and beautifully decorated ceiling it feels very cosy to sit down. The menu offers a variety of dishes. We went for the Gulash and the burger. The burger had a self-made patty, which I enjoyed very much in combination with the sauce. As a side were roasted potatoes, which were just delicious. Very recommendable place when in Prague…

Veganized Czech cuisine - Edit
A nicely set up restaurant on the fourth floor (no elevator) of a medieval building right under Prague Castle. They serve veganized Czech food and a variety of global dishes. I tried the goulash, and it tasted quite authentic! They also offer gluten-free options and tasty desserts. Although it's on the pricier side (paid ~40€ for a starter plate, two dishes and two drinks) you should definitely check it out if you happen to be in Prague!

Tasty but toursitic - Edit
The food was nice. I had a czech dish and my partner had a burger, and both were tasty. However, because of the touristic location (right by the castle), the prices were quite high.
Read moreTrivia: I noticed the restaurant sponsors a barn owl that's been rescued by an animal sanctuary.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is nice inside but we had to go up many flights of stairs to get to it.
When paying by card, getting to the no tip option was very difficult, so we felt pressured to tip, even though that's not something usual in Prague (I think).

Cons: Touristic, Expensive, "Compulsory" tip
VegansPragueRestaura
Dear LauPowOw,

Yes we are on the most turistic road (to Prague Castle), that mean we have higher prices than other restaurant (very expensive rent).
About tip: if you are paying by card there is a question if you want a leave a tip, if you dont its absolutely ok. In Czech republic its common to leave a tip if you are happy like in germany or usa.
Thank you for understanding

Lekker eten, aardige mensen - Edit

We stepped in for some dessert and chose the dumplings (filled w strawberrys & topped with strawberry sauce today) and the Sacher Style Cake.
Read moreFirst we had a table outside, which seemed like a really cool spot but sadly there was a smell like sewerage, that treated us to change to the inside. 🫣
The other guests followed.
Inside everything was fine and the interiour is very nice.
We had some waiting time becauce of the dumplings. Sadly no one told us and so my coffee gets cold. I wanted to drink it during having food so I would have ordered it later, if I had knew that.
Anyways.
We liked the dumplings, but we would prefer it without the sauce on top… maybe some cinnamon & sugar on top instead. 😊
The cake was tasty, maybe a little bit dry.

Nice view but mediocre too expensive food - Edit
The location is really nice, especially the little terrace but I would recommend to reserve if yoz want to sit outside (inside was nice). The food was okay but for what is was way too expensive. I had the Svíčkovà with dumplings. The meat replacement was tasty but the sauce did not have much taste. Also, it does not look very good in my point of view. It would be also nice to use reusable/no straws.

Hello,
Read morethank you for your visit and feedback! We try our best to make tasty veganized versions of traditional dishes. I'm glad you liked our homemade patties, the Svíčková sauce is supposed to taste like this - very creamy vegetable sauce, what adds the taste are the patties and cranberries. Try our goulash the next time!😄It's richer in the taste, little bit spicy and sour.
