Check ahead if they are serving food - Edit
We were so excited to try what looks like a fantastic menu, but were unable to because there was a gig on the night we visited. It is EITHER a restaurant or a venue, but if there's a gig on the restaurant is closed.

Delicious - Edit
If you are vegan (or not) and visiting Iceland you have to go here! The food was so tasty and the staff were nice.
Read moreMy partner and I had the spicy seitanic burger and loved it. I asked for it without the spice and they changed the wasabi sesame seeds to black ones and it was good to eat.
With everything in Iceland being sooo expensive (including the local supermarket where it costs £2 for a cucumber) we were happy to pay around £30 for the two of us.
Pros: Totally vegan, Reasonable price for Iceland, Cool vibe
Cons: Easy to miss, look out for the green door!!

Great! - Edit
The food was very very good. We had the soup, the Fishish and a Fishish Burger. We were very impressed by the Fishish. The music and the atmosphere were also nice. There are three big items on the menu that can be ordered as a burger too. Some smaller things are available as well.

Cons: expensive (it’s still Iceland)

Delicious and hidden away - Edit
My wife and I came spurred by the positive reviews during our Iceland trip and were impressed. The Fishish is the best tasting vegan fish and chips I’ve ever had and that includes our London experience that was our best til now. The burger was excellent and the cheese balls were good but paled next to the entrees. We’re planning on coming back.

Amazing vegan food and place - Edit
I was in Reykjavik only for one day in my trip to Iceland and I chose this bar among the 3 vegan bar options that I found there. The place was very cool, it had a stage for concerts, the people were very nice and the food was amazing. We ordered fishish and the seitan steak, and it was so good, that my boyfriend (who is not a vegan) went to congratulate the cook and ordered the cheese balls and the potato omelette (this last one wasn't so good as the rest in my opinion).

Great cruelty free atmosphere - Edit
I was just looking for a snack and ordered the cheese balls which were excellent. They came with a garlic dipping sauce which was also very good. I wish I hadn't eaten so much before coming here because the vegan fish looked amazing! Next time in Iceland I will definitely try to stop in.

The food is sooo good. The sign when you enter bans queerphobia, racism, sexism and speciesism. Try the Fish ish!

Best Vegan Pub Food - Edit
This is the best vegan pub fare I've ever eaten. We went back for a second time because it was so good. Definitely order the fish and the burger. The fish is the best fish I've ever had. They also had a non-alcoholic German wheat which was yummy, and a nice selection of teas with oat milk.

Absolutely delicious meal. The burger was wonderful (so juicy and lots of lovely flavours) and my partner loved the fish. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Definitely the best place to grab vegan food in Reykjavik.
