Ugh (Cigar Shop NEXTDOOR?!) - Edit
I really want to like this place but cannot give it more than two stars. The location is good but you can’t even walk in to do take out if you like to breath. The food is good though but I do t see how the food and kitchen aren’t being contaminated by the smoke shop next door. Unfortunate.
Read morePros: All vegan, All tasty. , Decent menu - like its predecessor
Cons: There is a SMOKE SHOP Nextdoor , Cannot breath when smoke shop is open, People actually SMOKE CIGARS on premises

Yummy yummy! - Edit
Vegan tree has delicious food! I love so many menu items: falafel sub, sriracha burger, Blt wrap, kung pao fusion, fried rice being my favorites! It pegs me as a kind of "vegan fast food" joint which i think is a good thing. Vegan doesn't always mean healthy and yet of course it remains much healthier than many other restaurants!

Good Tonkatsu - Edit
I tried their vegan tonkatsu and some of their spicy ramen — both were very good and I was pleased with the amount of spice they put in the ramen. It wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but I’d definitely come back here again given the chance.

I want them to succeed as well! - Edit
We REALLY want this place to succeed as well, we’ve eaten there 2-3 times when it was Loving Hut, and 3 times as vegan tree. The food looks and tastes both processed and frozen. Too oily. Nothing seems fresh or homemade. It’s the closest vegan restaurant to my house, so I really wish we liked it. For the Asian dishes I’m looking more for the quality of veggie heaven, and the american dishes more the quality of good karma. Hopefully they do an overhaul soon, I had high hopes when they switched owners/rebranded.

Delicious and great service! - Edit
Our first time here. We ordered spicy ramen and Kung Pao fusion. Both delicious. Our daughter had the nuggets -- she ate them all. We also had the cookies 'n cream cake for dessert -- yum. Food aside, nothing can beat the kind service by Evan who was a genuine joy to speak to! So hospitable and kind. Will be back next time we're in the area.

Delicious - Edit
Everything is really good and the prices are great. We order from here often. They have an app you can order your food from and pay with so it's really convenient. I don't know why people are giving them bad reviews. They seem very picky. We order here all the time and love it

One star is being generous - Edit
I cannot stress enough how much I want this place to succeed. I lived about a mile from there for a couple years when it was Loving Hut and that place set the record for the most times I've ever eaten at a bad restaurant. Usually if you have a bad experience you'll maybe go back one more time...twice if the menu is diverse enough. I ate there FIVE TIMES. And it was terrible all five times. So please know that my expectations were very low going in.
Read moreUnfortunately, this place was just as bad as Loving Hut. Similar almost all ways. The cheese was bland and didn't taste good. It was a truly bad experience again. If their desserts are still from Vegan Treats then by all means go get the dessert. It's great! But the food made there is borderline inedible.
Pros: vegan treats
Cons: Terrible quality, Bland food, Too expensive

Sad to read this review, I too would like to see some better vegan places prosper. I really feel too many, Loving Hut included focus on almost fast food like recreations of dairy and meat dishes rather than explore healthful offerings with better flavors. For example, something as SIMPLE as using ripe Jersey tomatoes when in season eludes many places and I find a bland thing that tastes like something bought out of season in the food store. if only places would make fresh fruits and veggies the star of the dish.

Don't miss out on Vegan Tree - Edit
We used to frequent Vegan Tree when it was Loving Hut. Loving Hut had its good dishes and it's not so stellar dishes. One of those dishes I loved was Golden Charm- crispy, spicy goodness that was worth the half an hour trip. I couldn't resist, seeing it on the Vegan Tree menu, I had to try it. Definitely different than the previous establishment's offering but equally delicious. The husband got the Happy Buddha and he loved it so much he wants to come back to get it again.

good entrees - Edit
Appetizers weren't great (felafel didn't have taste, scallion pancake was too greasy) but 2 entrees we had were very good--kung pao tofu and broccoli seitan. Would go back.

Loving Hut management is back! - Edit
They just changed the menu and the options are great. I had a wonton soup that is so big that it became my meal (it can serve two). It was delicious. I also had the summer rolls with peanut sauce, very yummy. My friends had the miso soup, the vegan tree burger with fries, and the scallion pancakes. They were happy with their choices. Also, we highly recommend the vegan tree special smoothie.
