I like this place and when I crave soul food, it’s my go to. However, I only like the greens and Mac. I’m not a huge fans of the meats. The fried chicken pieces are okay.

A little bit of spice, sweetness, tangy and salt makes the food here delectable. The briquet was our favorite and the tips our least favorite ( Reminiscent of Chinese 5 spice ) an texture was just ok.

Been wanting to try V.M. for a while. Spaghetti & shrimp was only good things we tried. Fried Chx dry, brisket, not good, Mac chz ok, garlic noodles, not garlicky, plain & oily. Sweet potatoes, wayyyy to sweet.

Vegan mob brings its incredible food back to SF with its food truck. Fusion soul/bbq items include things like combo plates, sandwiches, burritos, and even lumpia! Good value for the price. Would give a 5 star except that they haven’t quite worked out operational kinks here (put one order in only to find out the truck was in Concord, and for another order all my food was sold out.) That being said, third time was a charm!

I tried vegan mob in Oakland and was not impressed (food was served out of a cafeteria style serving table and didn’t taste seasoned at all) I thought I’d try the truck but it wasn’t any better. I had a hair in one of my tacos and the food was still disappointing.

It’s just as good as the original. Exciting flavor combinations, super satisfying meals, and somehow they’re always less of a gut bomb than they seem like they should be. I love how this parking lot is turning into a little vegan food truck pod!
