good variety of western and korean food

I thought that their menu had a good variety of food. They had salads and other western foods, as well as some traditional korean food. I had the bibimbap. In the picture on the menu, it showed that the gochujang sauce was on the side, but when I got my plate, it was put directly on my bowl which was unfortunate because it was a bit too spicy , and they put a lot of it on it. Otherwise, I thought it was pretty good. I just wish they had put my sauce on the side.

Pros: a lot of options on the menu

Cons: menu showed sauce on the side but sauce put on it

Good range for vegetarian

Has a good range of non allium taking vegetarian. Was told not to order Kimchi and dumplings that contain that. The rest are ok. Has a robot that serve the meal.

A vegan port in the storm.

Generous portions, delicious food, not to mention the fact I've been a return customer more than once. Damn good food.

Delicious and cheap!

This place is a lifesaver for hungry vegans in Seoul. Was so great to be able to try lots of different korean dishes made vegan.

Best opening hours

They are open non-stop from 10h30 until 21h30, wich s a big plus as several restaurants close earlier.

The only vegan fried chicken that I've tried and liked. Orders are made from a tablet and a little robot brings you food.

Lot of Korean dishes veganized, always a safe bet.

Pros: Lot of choice, Open when other places may be closed, There's always space

My favourite place in Seoul

Quick serving delicious food. Their kimchi stew hotpot dish is the highlight of this place. Everyone orders this.
But the garlic fried chicken was breathtaking. I was glad to have ordered the large portion as I couldn't stop eating it.
The kimchi fried rice was overly oily and the beef fried rice was nothing special. I'd stick to the other dishes.

Fantastic Korean veggie restaurant in Myeongsong

Super extensive vegan menu with many iconic Korean dishes. Would recommend coming with a friend or partner, as there were so many options I wish I had someone to share with to be able to try more of their dishes (such as the fried chicken!). I had the cutlet curry which was delicious - cutlet was super crispy and was a perfect addition to the curry.

Great spot with lots of options and a robot

Very conveniently located on the way from myeongdong to N.Seoul tower. They have all kinds of traditional Korean food from tteokbokki to army stew. Staff speaks English but you order via tablet and then a robot brings your food. Our son loved it.

Pros: location , robot

Vegan kitchen

Fully vegan restaurant with lots of different options. We went for the lunch poke bowl with “chicken.” The flavor was okay. Luckily it came with dressings, otherwise it would have been a bit plain and dry. With the sauces, it was fine. Nice to have something with fresh vegetables again.
The restaurant itself isn’t very cozy inside, but the staff and the neighborhood are great. They do ask guests to leave a positive Google review in exchange for a keychain, which probably explains all the five-star ratings.

Good restaurant

We went there three times with my friend because we were staying 2 mins from there. First trial was okay-ish - we were a bit disappointed (kinda tasteless) but there other times were better. It’s nice if you want to get vegan food for a cheap price.

Korean dishes, just vegan

Great selection of traditional Korean dishes, made vegan and with mock meats.

The "basic stuff" like dolsot bibimbap are on the pricier side for these types of dishes, but still ok. Everything can be ordered on a screen at your table, which is a bit annoying.

The mandu were delicious and so was the dolsot bibimbap, but the latter is not made with white rice, it is made with some wholegrain rice, which doesnt turn the rice crispy as you would expect with this dish. Ok location with Seoul Tower in the background.

Vegan Kitchen

Ordered the bibim guksu. Moderately priced and good serving size. Bibim sauce was a little more on the sour and vinegary side but I think that's more related to different restaurants having different recipes for bibim guksu. Wide variety of options on the menu.

My Mom ordered the soft tofu with rice. Her chili tolerance is much less than mine and I thought the soft tofu dish (while delicious) was on the warmer side. Though there are non-chili options on the menu, I think that the restaurant might benefit from being able to customise the level of chili so that people can still enjoy dishes that they want to eat without their stomachs suffering.

My verdict: 3.75/5. Nothing wrong with the flavour of the dishes at all. They were both tasty imo. I just feel that this place lacks the authenticity that other all-vegan restaurants in Seoul have (I'm thinking of Osegyaehyang as a comparison). Lack of banchan and poke bowls on the menu is why I think this way. Whether fair or not, my personal rating scale detracts points for lack of authenticity. Others might not be so bothered by it. Enjoyment can be subjective.

Pros: Reasonable pricing, Wide variety of options on the menu

Cons: Lacks authenticity - no banchan, poke bowls, Would benefit from customisation of chili level

Meh

The most interesting part of the experience was that the food was delivered by a robot. I ordered the mochi tubes with Kabocha squash and a poke bowl and they were just bland, not much flavor. My friends had warned me, but I still wanted to try it. They were right.

Pros: The robot, Kabocha was good

Cons: Little flavor, Nothing stood out

Good taste

I tried the spicy chicken, which had such a nice consistency but unfortunately weren't spicy at all....i asked them for some spice and they gave me gochujang (which was a bit disappointing). Nevertheless they tasted good. Also tried the japchae which were tasty.
For me personally they could season the dishes a bit more.

Delicious!

We tried a little bit of everything and thoroughly enjoyed the food.
Pro tip: sit at the windows (so you’re not too close to the kitchen) to have a chance at a robot delivering your food!

Wholesome food, warm vibes — must-visit for vegans in Seoul

Had such a lovely meal at Vegan Kitchen yesterday — the Japchae, meat dumplings, and chicken fries were full of flavor and freshness. A peaceful plant-based gem just steps away from the busy streets of Myeongdong.Kind service and calm vibes made it even better! 🫶
