Good restaurant

We went there three times with my friend because we were staying 2 mins from there. First trial was okay-ish - we were a bit disappointed (kinda tasteless) but there other times were better. It’s nice if you want to get vegan food for a cheap price.

Korean dishes, just vegan

Great selection of traditional Korean dishes, made vegan and with mock meats.

The "basic stuff" like dolsot bibimbap are on the pricier side for these types of dishes, but still ok. Everything can be ordered on a screen at your table, which is a bit annoying.

The mandu were delicious and so was the dolsot bibimbap, but the latter is not made with white rice, it is made with some wholegrain rice, which doesnt turn the rice crispy as you would expect with this dish. Ok location with Seoul Tower in the background.

Vegan Kitchen

Ordered the bibim guksu. Moderately priced and good serving size. Bibim sauce was a little more on the sour and vinegary side but I think that's more related to different restaurants having different recipes for bibim guksu. Wide variety of options on the menu.

My Mom ordered the soft tofu with rice. Her chili tolerance is much less than mine and I thought the soft tofu dish (while delicious) was on the warmer side. Though there are non-chili options on the menu, I think that the restaurant might benefit from being able to customise the level of chili so that people can still enjoy dishes that they want to eat without their stomachs suffering.

My verdict: 3.75/5. Nothing wrong with the flavour of the dishes at all. They were both tasty imo. I just feel that this place lacks the authenticity that other all-vegan restaurants in Seoul have (I'm thinking of Osegyaehyang as a comparison). Lack of banchan and poke bowls on the menu is why I think this way. Whether fair or not, my personal rating scale detracts points for lack of authenticity. Others might not be so bothered by it. Enjoyment can be subjective.

Pros: Reasonable pricing, Wide variety of options on the menu

Cons: Lacks authenticity - no banchan, poke bowls, Would benefit from customisation of chili level

Meh

The most interesting part of the experience was that the food was delivered by a robot. I ordered the mochi tubes with Kabocha squash and a poke bowl and they were just bland, not much flavor. My friends had warned me, but I still wanted to try it. They were right.

Pros: The robot, Kabocha was good

Cons: Little flavor, Nothing stood out

Good taste

I tried the spicy chicken, which had such a nice consistency but unfortunately weren't spicy at all....i asked them for some spice and they gave me gochujang (which was a bit disappointing). Nevertheless they tasted good. Also tried the japchae which were tasty.
For me personally they could season the dishes a bit more.

Delicious!

We tried a little bit of everything and thoroughly enjoyed the food.
Pro tip: sit at the windows (so you’re not too close to the kitchen) to have a chance at a robot delivering your food!

Wholesome food, warm vibes — must-visit for vegans in Seoul

Had such a lovely meal at Vegan Kitchen yesterday — the Japchae, meat dumplings, and chicken fries were full of flavor and freshness. A peaceful plant-based gem just steps away from the busy streets of Myeongdong.Kind service and calm vibes made it even better! 🫶

Best Restaurant in Myeongdeon

Literally the best vegan restaurant! We've been there everyday on our trip and tried almost everything. The food was always hot and spicy, we loved eating here! The cute little robot delivering drinks and foods is also nice 😊

Good Korean style food

I ate there 3 times, and everything was tasty. Check the pictures. Especially good was the fried “chicken“ (we should invent our words instead of using the carnivores’).
And the robot waiter is a nice touch.

Fast service and excellent taste

A nice menu with many options, I had the bulgogi with rice which was very tasty. Also tried the (non)chicken and some fried dumplings, everything was yummy! I actually think the price is fair!

Good but pricey

Great to experience vegan Korean food options and have a beer as well. I did feel the 1 minute instant noodles in the noodle dishes was a bit cheeky for the price . The fried dumplings were great!

Pros: All vegan Korean, Beer and shogu available

Cons: Bit pricey , Cheeky cheap noodles

Vegan food in Myeongdong!

The menu is deceptively big and it's hard to choose. Much of the food feels taken from a Loving Hut menu, but for me that's a positive. Seoul Tower is visible directly in the background, and I dig the little robo-buddy that brings the food.

Pros: Extensive menu, Great location, Robo-buddy

Cons: Expensive

Food delivered by robot, beer available

Nice selection of items. My partner ordered the beef meal and found it tasty but very spicy so if you're sensitive to spice please check with staff first.
The robot delivering food was a surprise and a first for us.
Beer available and payment by credit card is accepted

Pros: Good selection, Clean, Easy to find

vegan bibimbap

The authentic and fresh vegan bibimbap was all I can comment on for food. It was a good meal and just a touch spicy. Great texture, flavors, and presentation. Healthy walk from the seoul station.

Pros: Fresh ingredients , Tons of flavor, Korean menu items

Cons: Tourist heavy area
