If I could give it SIX stars, I would… - Edit
America may have popularized vegan restaurants but Europe has taken veg dining to a whole different level. Case in point is Vegan Garden here in “Pest”; to paraphrase Jack Nicklaus describing Tiger Woods - they are playing a game I’m not familiar with; from the clean, understated decor, to the varied but uncluttered menu, to the attentive, upbeat, but unpatronizing service, to the truly unique, delicate, and exceptional food quality and prep, this is truly a next-level experience worthy of a special trip just to try it out.

Delicious meals, something for everyone! The service was friendly but very slow. They charge extra for the service. I paid 28,98€ for 2 drinks, a starter and a main course. Quiet pricey for Budapest.

Some of the best vegan food I've ever had. The Tissot was amazing, the vegan chicken Brasov style was incredible too. The soup was to die for and we loved the creamy appetizer.

The goulash soup and burger are also recommended.
The pizza was a good size for the price, but unfortunately it didn't taste like a four cheese pizza, but like a pizza magaritta with too much cheese (the individual varieties have merged into one mash).

Read moreHungarian Gulasch was a bit bland… .. wished they had more typical hungarian foods in vegan version. The burger was claimed to be Beyond Meat but it wasn’t and had an odd after taste. For its price, they should switch to Beyond Meat Burgers. Also a bit too expensive - especially for locals. Still - restaurant is worth a visit.
Pros: Appetizer Platter for 2: Delicious, flavorful!!, Green atmosphere full of plants, Friendly staff

Amazing vegan menu - Edit
This is my third time coming here and it never disappoints. I've tried most things on the menu, Including the pizza, sheperds pie, starter platter and risotto, all delicious. Good portion size and value for money. This time round I had the Brasov roast, classic hungarian dish made vegan, it was amazing! Everytime I come to Budapest, I always look forward to coming here, can't recommend enough to vegans and non-vegans. My non-vegan girlfriend loves coming here with me cause the food is just that good!

The quatro pizza!! - Edit
The "cheese" pizza is amazing, also the waiters are nice and the place is beuatifully decorated. Aparently the also serve a breakfast buffet but we did not try that. It is inside some kind of mall that is otherwise not much used, so it's quiet and cozy there.

It was nice to go out for dinner and have more choice than the usual curry or burger. We had the sharing Platter to start and I had the shepherd's pie and my wife had a pizza, all the food was lovely and tasty and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We read all the reviews about bad service etc so we went in assuming it wasn’t going to be very good, but we had a great time! The restaurant itself is super cute with lots of plants. We tried the Brasov roast which was just like meat and potatoes and the shepherds pie- which was great with sweet potatoes. The Caesar salad was decent- has chicken nugs on top. Overall pretty satisfied.

Our top favourites were the lasagne - never tasted anything like it! And the starter sharing platter for 2 - very filling and pure flavour! The olives are in the best marinade I’ve ever tasted .
Venue interior is beautiful with lots of greenery, comfy seating & plenty of space.
For cocktails we had the classics - Moscow mule & espresso martini, both were displayed well and tasted great!
Lots of dessert choices, just ask as most are not fixed so aren’t displayed on the menu
Pros: Beautiful flavours, Good portion sizes , Comfy seating
Cons: Slight shortage of floor staff, There’s not more restaurant branches !!

Went here for dinner with my friend and was served very quickly - drinks also came super quickly. Loads of choice on the menu, from pasta to pizza to salads. I went for the gnocchi and my friend went for the Caesar salad. The gnocchi was really nice, and the vegan Parmesan was lush. The Caesar salad was also nice, with ‘chicken’ nuggets replacing the classic chicken strips. Good sized portions, couldn’t fit a desert in. Deffo go if you’re vegan and looking for places to eat in Budapest. Centrally situated on a road with lots of bars.

I had a traditional Hungarian vegan adaptation, which was decent but not amazing. My girlfriend had the miso ramen -do not order this, possibly the worst ramen I have tasted, it was essentially noodles in slightly flavored water. The staff were not friendly either.
